First visit so I’m looking to add more stars after trying more of the menu. We tried a bacon guacamole burger with fresh cut fries and pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. Delicious! Legit PP. Good sauce. Nice small selection of Washington beers and pop. Friendly service.

Great food, comfortable modern interior, poor customer service. We’ve been here twice, and each time the cashier doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing. It could be a training issue or just new employees, but you’d expect them to be able to answer a few simple questions about the menu options. The last time we were there my wife asked the cashier to repeat the order, and there were several mistakes. Then, after bringing out our food, they informed us that two of the sides were out. They offered to replace the side with fries, but then they forgot to bring out our fries! – No biggie, but still annoying. They apologized for the mistake, but that’s it. We’ll be back because the BBQ is so damn good. Try the pulled pork and beef brisket, it’s amazing. Their coleslaw is delicious, too. Overall this is a good BBQ joint, but with some customer service training, it could be a five-star establishment.

Reminds me of a Dickie’s BBQ, but local and really good service. I got the ribs which were good and the fries were great! Nice small selection of some good beers which is a nice touch for this type of casual resteraunt. The young kid behind the counter was super personable and helpful when ordering. My meal was about 15 bucks so not too bad for a good BBQ.

I haven’t had anything yet that wasn’t really good. Most items are excellent. The brisket has been outstanding; tender, smokey, and juicy. A great variety of sides as well. Only a few issues, nothing that makes me think twice about going there again and again. Once, they left one of our sandwiches out of a carry out order, but they actually delivered it to us to make it right. Sometimes they’ll ask if I want a little coleslaw on a pulled pork sandwich, sometimes not. And they show some awesome onion rings in photos online, but they aren’t available any more. Those trivial things aside, I LOVE this place. Real barbeque is hard to find, but Buck’s has it!

Every time I’ve visited they have been out of something…no ribs or no pulled pork, no beets. Merging Bucks & Good Burger just resulted in Good Burger no longer being Good Burger. Very disappointing. Now they do your fries before the burger is ready so they are not hot by the time you get your burger. Fries use to be done right when your burger was done so they were HOT! Just seems that the BBQ side has detracted from what was Good Burger.

Burgers are amazing! The pulled pork is moist with decent flavors and paired with the BBQ sauce is real good. The BBQ sauce taste like it is vinger based and a little on the thinner side of consistency, so definitely not a St. Louis or Memphis style BBQ sauce. However the food is real good and priced considerably below the BBQ market standards and the service is good. The atmosphere is very relaxed with older country playing overhead. Definitely will be coming back. Great new feature to Ferndale
