Just the cutest little diner. They’re only open for breakfast and lunch, but if you’re looking for either of those meals, you can’t go wrong here, as it is their specialty after all. The food is absolutely delicious and always piping hot. The service is amazing… always with a smile and jovial disposition. The atmosphere is straight out of the 50s, including the old-fashioned advertisements Clean, bright, with plenty of windows. My wife and I eat here often, as it is now our favorite breakfast spot. A+ experience, every single time!

I was looking forward to trying this place based off the reviews but my experience this morning was disappointing. The waitress seemed to be doing the best she could being alone but we recieved our food almost over an hour after ordering. If it had been simply that they were busy I would not be upset but after the entire restaurant turned over it was frustrating to watch table after table get their food even though they walked in a half hour or more after our order had been taken. The food was hot and fresh eventually which was appreciated. Portion size was generous and the whole place was very clean and super cute decorations.

We’ve been going to Buck’s for almost 20 yrs and it’s never changed and has always been awesome. Food is excellent, service is excellent. It seems everyone knows each other. Great atmosphere. And if you’re lucky, you’ll hear the cooks in the back singing! We get both dine-in and take out.

Ive been going to Bucks for years. I like to go now just for the nostalgia of going when i was a kid. But every time i go in there, it takes at least an hour to get food. Brought my kids in this morning, got a table around 1110, had coffee in minutes, and she took our order within minutes. We then sat there for over an hour waiting for food with a 9 and 7 year old getting restless and no appoligy for the long wait. Watched a guy walk in, sit down at the bar, and he had his food in ten minutes. I go about once year because I seem to have the same experience every time. The food was good when we finally got it.

This is the 4th time in a row that have been there and waited over 45min for my breakfast order of 2 eggs cooked over easy, with rye toast. Very disappointed in this resturant since the new owners took over. If you don’t have at least 1.5 hours, then you should probably go somewhere else. We won’t be going back anytime soon, if at all.

Food was very good except for the frozen potato hashbrowns. Staff was quick and friendly. I cooked hashbrowns at the Chuck Wagon In 1965 in Algonac. Probably twice as expensive but four times better.

My wife and I been here few months ago, and this was my secong time around. My always fave was their corned beef hash and biscuits, and gravy. Nothing can beat this delicacy of Buck’s. I also ordered the omelets, and this is a total bomb! Definitely will come back here!
