Got the Double Buck Burger. It was fantastic. Server was great. Only one issue we had was we ordered onion rings and they brought fries then when we asked for them, they hadn’t been cooked yet. We canceled the rings but still enjoyed everything else.

I had a couple of procedures done at the Hospital and when they discharged me I call and placed an order with them. It was to be ready in 15 minutes. We got there in about 30 minutes, My husband goes in to pick it up and it still wasn’t ready. We waited another 20 minutes and she said they were waiting on the fries, so my husband tells her to just forget about them, then she says well it’s really the chicken we’re waiting on. Then finally he got our order. After a long day at the Hospital we were so tired and hungry. Finally we’re on our way home anticipating on the food and relaxing. But my husband’s burger was So Greasey that he couldn’t salvage any of it, my chicken was over cooked !!! So our dinner turned into our dogs dinner and we ended up eating a can of soup !!! So I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!! I’m sorry but that was our experience with them and had I felt like it we would have carried it back to them. But I feel like this is the Best thing to do is to give them this REVIEW ! Donna

I have visited for lunch for the last 2 days. I have found the staff to be quite polite and friendly. The first day there was a little weight but to compensate for this they did give me a free sweet tea. Kudos for me 🙂 today I decided to call in my order since I am going during lunch hours and when I got there my food was already ready. The staff once again was very polite and friendly. My food is hot and fresh. I ordered pork chops with fried green tomatoes and broccoli and cheese with a roll. I think Bucks have a very nice menu and variety. I haven’t tried their ice cream but hey who can mess up ice cream it all looks great here. If you are coming through the Alexander City area, I would recommend that you stop there if you have the time because it’s not on the main Highway 280 is a little off the beaten path on Highway 22. I tried calling in an order tonight. I was on hold for 20 min. When I pulled up and walked in Bucks, I was still on hold. When asked why, they said they were short staffed. Ok cool. My temp went down a little. So I ordered 2 (wing snacks) with toast and fries. She charged me for 2 (wing dinners). I left after waiting 50 mins between taking my order and receiving my food. However, I get home with 1 hard toast and a roll with cold fries. I’ve been going to Bucks for years, never like this. Too much money and no satisfaction tonight. I didn’t feel like going back. Be a while before I waist money again there. I’m better off cooking my own. Not to mention, I watched all the cooks come back to the grill from returning from outside and none washed their hands.

Had to get our own menu took forever to even get us a drink. It wasn’t busy we never got our food. They started handing out food to people who came way after us and the only thing they had to say was sorry I didn’t know you didn’t have your food yet. Maybe if they weren’t playing on their phones and talking and actually working I could have had lunch today. I wouldn’t recommend this place even if it was the only place to eat it was just terrible also the table wasn’t even clean. You got 3 people up front and 3 in the back cooking and can’t even handle 5 tables you should just close up shop at that point.

The manager here is very rude! She does not like to be wrong about anything! She has a very bad attitude, and she just does not need to be in this type of work if she can’t deal with the public with better respect and rationalization. The food is ok, depending on who cooks, but I lost my appetite when I saw roaches crawling on the wall beside our table.

I order big buck cheeseburger, onion ring, coleslaw and tea by phone. Paid for order, received food and checked my order. Took food out the bag, wrong item. They gave me someone foot long hot dog. I pulled it out of packaging, showed it to the clerk at register. She than pulled it out of bag, looked at it. And put it back into packaging, than into paper back. And gave it to the person that ordered it. Cooks in the back taking out onion rings with there BARE hands. He just was on the phone, didn’t wash hand used same hand to get onion rings and placed them in his mouth. Than begin making someone else meal. He than laid phone down on the area where you have the veggies on the white top. Begin assembling people order. This is VERY, VERY UNSANTISE! AND OUT RIGHT NASTY. I ALWAYS VISIT HERE WHEN IN ALABAMA, NEVER AGAIN .

Waited over 30 minutes for 3 fried chicken strips potato logs cold slaw and 2 plain baked potatoes ..They forgot the roll that went with chicken strips meal. All customers waited long time for their meals. Food was hot but food was not good . They must only have 1 cook. First and last time at this place. Don’t recommend.

Excellent country cooking. We had the fried chicken with greenbeans, coleslaw, fried okra. Very good!! The staff was very friendly and so helpful!! Definitely a come back!! Oh and prices are very affordable.
