Amazing food, beautiful space and wonderful service. Definitely worth the drive and the prices are too good to be true. We ordered the kids pancake and sausage, 2 eggs with hash browns and marble rye toast, and the Mediterranean omelette. Every dish was perfection, so fresh, so delicious. We can’t wait to come back and try lunch!

Went for a Saturday morning breakfast. Not so busy, I think I was earlier than the usual crowd. Nice choice of breakfast offerings, and huge portions served up. Not many other choices in the area, but that’s OK – Buck’s is all you need.

This cozy place was recommended to me by a local I bumped into whom was having a garage sale. The staff was nice. This is a place where they know that you are either a regular or from out of town. I have become more adventurous when traveling and try to get away from ordering the same thing everytime and being open to try new things. I ordered one of the specials for the day – An asparagus omelet with hollandaise sauce. I was impressed. I didn’t have a piece of a woody end until the very last bite of my omelet. I wasn’t crazy about the hollandaise sauce, but it did add character to the omelet. The bacon had to be sent back to be cooked longer, but came back as desired. Hubby said his sandwich was delicious and he can be pretty hard to please. The French toast was okay.

Very impressive place in the heart of Port Hope. The hours are shorter, and the building is small, so make sure you plan accordingly. In my opinion, Buck’s kicks Leroy’s up and down the main road.

Bucks is the best! Their Michigan salad is so good! I also love the biscuits and gravy and their spicy sausage! They are very friendly and also the prices are not bad!

This place is the BEST, they have gluten free options that are celiac safe and some of kindest, most adept waitstaff in the thumb. Make this place a part of your Port Hope experience and don’t 4get to try this HEAVENLY asparagus omelet.

Nice family restaurant. Great looking decor and great service –very friendly. Food was good and reasonably priced. The pancakes were fluffy and sweet! Overall great menu and choices. I would love to see fruit or fruit cups -that would be a nice addition:)

New breakfast/lunch spot in town and we had a great breakfast. Omelet was delicious and cooked to perfection – Not your typical greasy spoon. Many menu options with specials too. Will definitely come back to try out their lunch. Aesthetic of the building and the historic renovated details make for a great environment to share a meal with the family

The building gained a lot of dignity after the improvements. Interior is marvelous, noticeably clean, and the seating is very comfortable. The menu and specials are well thought out, and I’ve never been dissatisfied with my meals there. A small town restaurant that warmly welcomes regulars and can still impress lakeshore tourists is a hard task, and Buck’s did it! A wonderful addition to this town!
