We hadn’t eaten at Buddy’s in over 10 years but since we had an appointment in Andrews later in the day we planned our trip early enough to get lunch. Disappointed that the dining room wasn’t open but the steak fingers were just like I remembered them from years ago. We ate in the truck and enjoyed that excellent fresh real meat taste of their steak fingers. We won’t wait so long to go back, even if we have to eat in the truck.

Made a call in order. For 2 orders of finger. Told me it would be about 30 minutes. I was fine with that. I pulled up about 15 minutes after I ordered. I watched the parking lot clear out 2 times in the 23 minutes I was there and not one person came to me so I could tell them I was here for a call in order.

Came through about a year ago dinning area close then too. Then they stayed staffing issues. Take out only. Today, $19+ for 5-6 scant, thin, over cooked, near burnt pieces and a large tea. Usually it’s over flowing and I’m never left hungry, just right. Not this time. Quality and quantity seems to be going down hill each time. Someone should be checking quality and quantity. Wait staff polite and got food quickly. It’s always been a staple for Andrews, I grew up here. Andrews is better than that. Fluke occurrence maybe.

I ordered the steak finger dinner with onion rings instead of fries, a fountain drink, and a chef salad. The food was good the service was also good but this cost $30. I asked the car-hop if they had a menu because $30 seemed expensive. She said they only had 1 menu for the employees to use. This isn’t worth $30. I probably will not go back. According to the menu I see here on Google $10.50 for steak finger dinner, $6.50 for salad and $2.50 for a fountain drink. I don’t know why such a big discrepancy and they either couldn’t or wouldn’t explain it either! The dining room is close due to lack of employees they said.

My order was wrong. We were passing through and had heard a lot of good things about this place. My wife ordered cheeseburger and fries.. It came out with a crispy burnt patty and a horribly burnt bun. No fries no nothing. The burger was no mayo and no veggies and no fries. Steak fingers were just ok with no seasoning and the fries were awful.

Steakfingers were legit. And more than enough — I think 8 (and each pretty big). Gravy was on point, toast was delicious. Fries could have used some salt. $13 was a little steep, but still happy with it. For the out-of-towners (like me), you need to park in front of the building (not along the side), and it doesn’t hurt to call in your order (area code 432, rest of the number is on the building.) But someone will come up to your window to help you.

It’s a Cardinal sin to work in the Andrews area and not stop at Buddy’s. Punishable by death. (If not actually true, it should be). I grew up in the Permian Basin and have enjoyed the steak fingers since I was a kid dating back to the 70’s.

Don’t waist your money! Took a very long time to get the steak finger basket! Delivered to vehicle without any napkins. Had to ask for salt and pepper because it was that bland. Save your $16+!

The Steak Fingers were Off the Hook! The Best I ever had! Their gravy for dipping was too notch too. Texas toast and Fries too boot! Great food, worth the trip, worth the wait!

Never have I ever had such amazingly good steak fingers! And the guys running the food and drinks were super fast and friendly. Wish I could get this food everywhere…
