I ordered pizza from here for my crew and I asked at least 5-6 times to be well done. I called them when I returned back to work, it was under cooked and no sauce. They was nice enough to do a replacement. Thing is, I got one last week, still undercooked and no sauce. Tonight I got this it’s so doughy my crew was all unhappy. Buddy’s used to be one of the Best pizza places in the Metropolitan area. I will probably never return. I ordered a 4 piece and bread to go along with this free dough we received. How to you go from being the best to the worst. I wasted $25 tonight, I’ll buy little Caesars before I ever buy a Buddy’s pizza again.

We love Buddy’s, today was not their best. First we ordered an 8 corner and only because we had a $7.70 off coupon. Well I guess the coupon starts in July doesn’t expire in July so they did not honor it. We got home and the 8 corner was a regular large pizza. So we called and waited on the phone for 15 minutes for a manager. Oh so the manager was busy in the dinning room with a party and the employee told use to send them an email to get a refund. I have worked in restaurants for 20 years plus, this is a first that the manager is too busy to solve a simple problem. Not impressed by the night manager 6-15-23 at Livonia Buddy’s pizza. This is not how you handle things, the party didn’t need you if you properly trained your employees. We don’t eat here the wait has always been ridiculous and service is not so good either. The employees are never around when you need a drink refill, all you hear is giggling from the back, on their phones. I personally only like the cheese sticks which you need to stop putting parm on top of them yuck. The chicken tenders are good but very salty for some reason. I hope your experience is better than ours.

Visiting from out of town, and I heard that this was good Detroit style pizza. Suffice to say, it wasn’t worth the hype – the pizza was “okay” at best. Honestly nothing overly spectacular about it – ordered the Sicilian – pizza could’ve had more toppings and cheese. Or I should say that’s what I expected it to have based on the description. Jets is better in my opinion

It’s okay. $15 for a 4 square pizza with paper thin ham and pineapple was definitely over priced. You could get more bang for your buck else where. The wings were also small and over cooked. I wouldnt return.

Their food is amazing. The margarita pizza is the absolute best, and the portions of meats to salad in the antipasto salad is generous. The beer selection is fair. Service from the bar wait staff is a little slow. Regular wait staff is good. The bathroom was clean. The restaurant decor is a bit dated with Detroit photos and memorabilia.
