We ordered a few dishes. The green curry, red curry and beef fried rice. I dont remember what else was ordered. All of the food was delicious. It was served very fast, which was great because we were rushed for time. I would say that the fried rice was amazing. I couldn’t decide which curry I liked more because truthfully, it was whichever one I was eating at the time.

Never had Thai food before. The food was excellent and brought to my table FAST! Within a couple minutes. Flavors were awesome. I can only assume they were authentic, seemed so after reading some online details. Music was loud for my ears but I dislike loud music so Im biased. Youd have to talk loudly to converse with a friend. Atmosphere is “its just a restaurant.” Not a deal breaker for me cause the food is good. Service was fine and pleasant. Id go back.

Wow. I’m actually impressed at 1. How fast the food was out and 2. How incredibly fresh, delicious, and nuanced the flavors were. I got the shrimp pad see ewe and the shrimp was so tender and delicious. The noodles were evenly and beautifully coated in the most flavorful sauce. The veggies were also cooked very well and maintained some crunch. I added some of their pepper flakes which looked smoked/crushed in house for a little bit of that smokiness and heat I was craving. It was honestly one of the best Thai meals I have ever had. I also had the hibiscus tea and it was really refreshing and the perfect level of sweetness. It was very similar to the Mexican drink Jamaica. 10/10 give this place a try.

Cute place, nice decoration, food – 5 star papaya salad (refreshing and flavorful in a pleasantly punchy way, definitely recommend) + 3 star steamed dumplings + 1 star drunken noodle made this rating – A hardcore 1 star for the drunken noodle.

Tasty Thai food. If you’re hungry, probably best to go with noodle dishes rather than a noodle/larb combo like we did. The noodles were definitely the winning dish for us. Would skip the larb in the future. Would be happy to try a curry. Interesting ordering where you order at the counter and then sit down with your number to wait for food. Works well enough but I didn’t even realize there was a bar until I had already ordered a soft drink from behind the register. We had ‘medium spice’ and it was relatively mild but the noodles came with an extra pepper sauce which definitely added some heat if you wanted it.

I adore Budsi’s! Everything I have tried so far has been absolutely delicious. You can tell that they use fresh, quality ingredients. All of the below dishes are fantastic:

Super chill vibes. Counter service but had great service, none the less. I had green chicken curry. The potion was a great size and still had left overs. Very great price point. They could probably charge more!

Budsi is a random but perfect little restaurant tucked in the Marigny. Authentic Thai cuisine with an amazing explosion of flavor. The spice level is real, but if you can handle it, GO FOR IT! We got their Dumplings, Steak Salad, Drunken Noodles, Budsi Noodles, & the Khao Soi. My personal favorite is the Khao Soi, I love the combination of coconut curry soaked noodles with the crunchy fried egg noodles. It’s such an amazing texture and flavor dynamic here. Definitely make your way here!

Food was decent. The spice levels were there. Maybe we just got the wrong things. I got the drunken noodles with added shrimp but got only like 4 shrimp, and I’m not used to whole cut vegetables in my noods. The lady got Budsi noodles with shrimp. And the spice level nearly knocked her out. However the pork dumplings were pretty dang tasty. We should of gotten the Pad Thai. Overall it was mediocre at best.
