I live in the neighborhood and waited with high hopes for this place to finally open and I was not disappointed! The food was delicious! Flavorful and perfectly cooked. We went there with our family (including young kids) and everyone was comfortable. The mole sauce and guacamole were *chef’s kiss*. We will definitely be going back often!

Nice addition to the neighborhood with plenty of seating and good service. The menu and flavors are identical to the other locations outside the city, which is above average Mexican fare. Bar wasn’t open yet. Will be back to review further once alcohol can be served and the kitchen gets into the groove.

Been living around the Resturant for about a year now. I’ve been waiting for this place to open and got excited about just from seeing the decorations and the setting. The day came and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the guac tasted so fresh. The drinks was amazing and the cups were so cute. The only downside is it can be a bit loud but unfortunately not much can be done about that due to the size and space available. Overall was super impressed and will certainly be back!

Great addition to the neighborhood! Large portions (pic is of half a chimichanga), authentic flavors, and the staff was flying around to serve the busy restaurant just a few days after opening. They were very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend

This place just opened august 1. They don’t serve alcohol yet for 2 more weeks. But we really loved our food! We had vegetable tacos and cheese enchiladas and they were both impressively good, big portions too. Servers were nice and the tables and decor are really pretty! Recommend checking it out!

This place was a joy. Lovely staff. Great vibes & ambiance. Huge beautiful windows overlooking a handsome block. Very good portions. My two little kids and I got just one dish with a side of sweet plantains and a side of guacamole and had plenty of leftovers. We also enjoyed delicious horchata and I had a great margarita. I’ve spent significant time in Mexico and was not disappointed.

We went to Buena Vista for the first time last night with my family and it was good. The servers were super kind and welcoming, and took an interest in our kids, which we appreciated. The food was somewhat typical of what we’re used to finding in local Mexican restaurant chains in the US, with some differences that may be regional. We recently moved to Philly from the South, and aren’t used to black beans being offered as a the default side instead of refried pinto beans. And in our experience in the South Mexican restaurants don’t usually serve sweet plantains. These were welcome differences for us, though. All in all, we appreciated the friendly service and were satisfied with the food. Glad to have more restaurant options in the area. We’ll definitely be back!
