As someone who does not live nearby, I am jealous of the locals who can come here frequently. We had a great lunch with everyone very happy with their choices. Going on the weekend to get ribs was a great call. Sides were tasty. Service was fast. Would love to get a chance to come back soon.

Really good food and great sides. They are delicious too. We had the macaroni and cheese & beans. Fish is fried and juicy, meat soft seasoned perfectly and juicy too. Burnt ends and brisket.

Great food and atmosphere here. Fresh food and family or friends makes for a good meal. Guitarists here play well and provide music straight from the soul (the band Thoreau’d in the Road) Kind employees and waiters help get your food. Overall 10/10 recommend to any barbecue lovers.

Got there a hour and a half after they opened. 5 tables in use- they were already out of ribs! Bad planning since it was heritage days going on. Outside seating was basically empty, so dont understand the no ribs. I was told I could take them home and finish cooking them myself….smh. Ended up getting chicken, that seemed undercook, and pulled pork. Also there was a spat right up in view of customers between the cook and the counter lady- very unprofessional- dude needs to keep his temper in check. Most likely will go to Marshall for my bbq from now on.

The food was okay but the customer service of the girl at the register was terrible. She didn’t welcome us when we walked in, she rolled her eyes whenever we told her we were there for pick up, she didn’t give us napkins or forks for our food. The way she acted was enough for us to never come back.
