Service was poor. Had to ask for everything and the restaurant was not very full at all. Also, some of the food on the buffet was almost cold. The cobbler was fair. I did enjoy the boiled shrimp and the salad bar. However the only option for soup was chicken stew and it was very low.

They have changed the breading on the shrimp. It was a lightly seasoned dry dusting that made the shrimp so good. THIS breading is a wet batter which is thick and holds oil and now the shrimp is heavily greasy. They also discontinued the unique and delicious pickles they served for years. Heck, I came sometimes craving those pickles. They are also buying a different kind of shrimp which is subpar to what they used to serve. Won’t be back soon unless they tell me they went back to previous breading for shrimp and have the pickles they used to serve, but I don’t guess they will let me know. I have come here monthly for years! I do wish they would let me know. I am from Spartanburg and don’t want to waste a trip.

Placed a call-in order tonight. We drove 6 minutes back home to find we didn’t have the order of hush puppies we had ordered. I had to go back, all the 6 minutes to drive to stand there 10 minutes while they filled the buffet. Not once did they bring the hush puppies. Husband ordered the steak, Medium, it was Rare and ALL fat. Would probably have been good if it hadn’t been cold from having to go back and eat around the fat on the steak. We can’t say we will return, this is our 2nd bad experience with the food here. Change the grease, the fish won’t be brown, it will be Golden Fried

Absolutely horrible! I’m 64 years old and this is the worst place I ever ate! Buffet greasy and empty and cold! Don’t bother with this place. Every time I drive by, it’s empty so people are catching on!
