Homemade comfort food fresh. Roast beef with gravy excellent, best Cole slaw in Carroll county (I’m picky about coleslaw but there’s is perfect). Fish sandwich is big and tasty. I love the atmosphere and chuck wagon theme, ice cream is great also. I have been eating there with family for over 40yrs and I’m always satisfied. Prices went up is my only complaint however food is well worth it. They also need bigger booths we had 4 people and got 2 booths across from each other it’s hard to squeeze 4 people and food in 1 booth. Gets pretty busy Friday and Saturday dinner.

Need the salad bar back! Some of the recipes have been changed , some for good and some for the worst.( Used to love their Lima beans, new ownership replaced them and they are tiny and gross.)not looking forward to the beer and wine they are implementing. Many older citizens flocked here but with the alcohol coming in they may look elsewhere for that old time charm.

First time going since new ownership. Seem to look cleaner than it use to but still needs some updating. To me the food seems the same. Tonight I had the liver and onions. The food was good. Service was good. Here you place your order and wait for your number to be called. Pick up at the counter. My wife asked how is the chicken sandwich and the guy that was serving the drinks in the front said it taste like a chicken sandwich. I thought that was a little rude. Other than that, overall good service. The atmosphere is a little dull and strangely quiet. Needs a little updating. Overall a good place for dinner.

We used Bullocks to help us cater a luncheon for 45 people. The roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans were all excellent and everyone enjoyed them. We were pleased with the price and the staff was friendly and easy to deal with. I’ve eaten in the restaurant many times but this was my first time using the catering. Would highly recommend.

Just terrible and over priced. I got the roast beef dinner for $16.95, certainly not worth that price. It was dry and had no roast beef flavor. No reason to go back in my opinion. So sad because it used to be good. No more salad bar. My salad was served in a to go container. Better to eat at home I’m afraid

Expensive horrible and way over priced the only thing good was the coleslaw. I got a delmonico queen steak for $18.95 it was all fat over cooked. My husband got T-bone and it was overcooked both steaks didnt have any flavor. We will never go back there again

Went in Bullocks today to get my grand-daughter chicken and western fries to have before playing in her concert later. I asked the woman if they were fresh and hot , her response was yes. NO you couldn’t even eat the fries the chicken was dry. This was the second and last time. When I ask & pay for hot fresh food that’s what I want. I have been eating there since 1986, lost a customer.
