Outstanding food from an eclectic menu that is unique and offers a great variety. Definitely not a copy cat or run-of-the-mill diner menu. Scratch prepared, hot, fresh and huge portions at a great price. I can’t wait to try lunch. Two thumbs up from a retired chef.

Same Owner Of The Other Business, Where The Food Is A Meh Quality And A Rip Off Of Other Great Restaurants Like Pinecone And Garcia’s And ParkSide. It’s A Wanna Be Of Parkside, But The Owner Is Stalking Around As A Waiter Making Sure You “Enjoy” You’re Meal!!! Very Disappointed In This Business. Not Recommended!!!!!

This was the worst food and service I’ve ever had. First of all we waited forever for our food. We watched people come eat and leave before we even got ours. I finally said if we don’t get our food we’re walking out. Apparently our order slip got “shuffled to the bottom “. Oops!! But soon after that we finally got our food. My bacon was absolutely black all the way through. I dropped a piece on the table and it shattered right in front of the owner. She asked if I wanted more? Lol no I’m good. We specifically ordered our pancakes light not burnt like the guys at the next table. And he had to ask for butter and syrup. Anyway ours came out just as black as his. And we also had to ask for butter and syrup. And the toast also had no butter. I had one bite and couldn’t swallow it it was so dry and hard. The home fries were good but nothing special. The eggs were good too. But we were done with our coffee cups long before our food arrived and ordered orange juice and they let the cups sit there on the edge of the tiny table (you can see how small they are in the pics they posted) ♂️until we finally had to ask them to take them. Basically we were done by then anyway. They offered it to us for free. I said I didn’t come here for a free meal I came because I was hungry. I am a big fan of these type restaurants over chain places. I didn’t want to write a bad review but she was rude and apparently thought since it was free it would be ok. NOT!! We gave them cash and left. I wish them luck but they’ll never make it. Apparently they just opened 5 days ago she said and already had 2 chefs quit on the spot. So that tells you something also. DONT EAT THERE!! There was 3 people we knew there at the same time and they were also displeased. Said the place is a joke. And if you do go there watch out for the concrete steps. They’re sloped down terribly. As soon as it gets slippery someone will slip and get hurt for sure.
