I have lived here for about a year and have been trying the various fish fry’s around town. This one is now my favorite. I got the wallaye and it was perfectly breaded and seasoned. Also, the coleslaw was DELICIOUS and I’m VERY picky about coleslaw. The option of waffle fries is a really nice change from the standard french frys.

What a nice surprise. A lovely old style local bar but with a twist. The food is great. Much better than I thought it was going to be. They put in a great effort. The fish fry is at a par with the best I have ever had. Service is efficient, if not overly friendly. Lots of locals on a first name basis. Think of “Cheers”.

This is just a small corner bar. They serve great food though! I arrived later in the evening so it wasn’t very busy, service was prompt. Pretty sure I was the only non-local in there. Worth a stop!
