Today I attended a birthday party that served Buona Beef as the meal and Rainbow Cone as the cake. It was delicious!!!! The beef was tender, au jus tasted authentic, and the bread was perfectly flaky and soft. The items that blew me away were the chicken Alfredo and Tuscan chicken. Juicy with intense but not overpowering flavor! The cake was a show stopper! Multiple layered ice cream flavors and real cake as the base! Not only was I impressed by the flavors and quality of the food, but how well it traveled and the size of the serving trays. This was my first time experiencing Buona Beef and Rainbow Cone and I was pleasantly satisfied!

Great addition to Valpo! Beef has bit of a spice, but not too spicy. I got extra mozzarella, but still would have liked more cheese lol! I would also recommend the melted nacho cheese on the Italian beef and asking for a side of Au jus.

I eat Italian beef sandwiches approximately 6x a month all over the country as i travel, my 1st thought was. This is a fast food Italian beef its as much Italian beef is tacos are Mexican food at Taco Bell. Its good its filling but its fast food and you get what you came for. The presentation was nice….. Rainbow Cone, little heavy on the lemon flavor but it was good. The only problem was it was a baby scoop and for the $4.59 price you wont be seeing me back in that line.

I am so glad that there is a Buona in Valpo. I have eaten at other locations and I loved it . Growing up I was always a Portillos guy but Buona is top notch ! Great beefs , awesome Italian sausage and the fries are great ! This is my new lunch time spot for sure !

This is my Drive Thru Review…had 6 cars ahead of us and there’s 2 lanes to order only waited about 10 minutes. The service was very good and the server was very polite, Had a regular size Beef sandwich with cheese and sweet peppers and it was Terrific!! Stop by and give it a try I’ll be going back again.

We were reluctant to try this place as we previously tried the store bought and it was gross. However, I am so glad we stopped in because the food was amazing! There was so much flavor in our Italian beef! Also, the regular size is huge so I can’t imagine how big the big sandwich is. The staff was very courteous and the dinning room was well kept. There’s no doubt we will be back many more times! Stop in and check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
