Service was speedy but there were only a handful of customers in the restaurant so hard to read that accurately. The place can be a bit difficult to find but once in there, one is treated to clean tables and delicious, well prepped food at reasonable prices. The menu is somewhat limited in scope and that’s not a bad thing. Always been a fan of food joints that don’t stretch themselves thin, concentrate on a number of dishes and execute them well.

Great little restaurant in a strip storefront. Don’t let the location and storefront fool you. The Grape Truffle pizza was an excellent surprise to the taste buds. The chicken in the Ciccios Alfredo linguini pasta was not seasoned, a disappointment to the taste buds.

Their pasta dishes are delicious. That’s where the good review ends. The pizzas are undercooked and underwhelming. Crust is almost inedible. I’ve tried the pizza many times. Always the same mediocrity. Ordered the honey cheese bread appetizer to go and received a piece of aluminum foil with cheese stuck to it for $10 and rock hard bread. See photo. They don’t even use fresh mozzarella on the margarita pizza. They use a shredded cheese blend that doesn’t taste very good and tomato sauce. Totally disappointed.

We enjoyed the food and atmosphere at a recent private party. The array of pizzas was excellent; staff helpful and friendly. However I could rate this restaurant ( our first time here) no higher than a 3 because the restrooms were messy– paper scattered on the floor, door in women’s restroom did not close completely(latch broken); husband said the men’s was a mess too. The floor in the main eating area looked dirty. Have to wonder about cleanliness of the kitchen. Whole place needs a redo. Such a shame because it was a fun place to be.

I ordered the Jeremy’s meat pie and the grape truffle oil pizza. They were both delicious! The atmosphere was great and it was surprisingly crowded for a Wednesday. The service couldn’t have been better! Mel was our server and she did an excellent job. We will definitely go back!!!

My family and I went there for dinner on Thursday night. They were busy, but they were very accommodating and sat us right away. The server was quick to get our food out and to get our drinks refilled. The bar area and overall ambiance is fantastic. The restaurant is surrounded with Cincinnati and Italian murals on the wall that look great and create a nice local feel. We ordered a pizza and it was delicious! Probably one of the better pizzas in the Northern Kentucky area. Highly recommend!

Their newest location: 2513 Ritchie St. in Crescent Springs KY. Great atmosphere which complemented the great food. Reasonably priced. Hand crafted pizza with fresh dough and fresh toppings rather than your typical commissary ingredients. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. Very friendly staff and welcoming family environment, but adult customers will find it to be a sophisticated bistro with good wine, beer, and spirit selection. This is a place to go to enjoy dining and not just “let’s grab a pizza and go.”

I have taken my family to eat at Buona Vita multiple times and have had great experiences each time. Most recently we went last Friday with a party of 12 and both the food and service were great!! I agree a couple of our beginning visits there were some growing pains that I believe they were working through but they seem to have it worked out now. I plan on being back very soon!! Thanks for the local place to hang out with a great atmosphere and good food!
