Est. 1989, Owner Jimmy Pante bought out his business partner in 1993, and sold Buonos 2013. After several years of his customers requesting him to reopen. Jimmy and his Fiancé Shelly (RN and Army Veteran) opened up Buonos in Gilbert on the NW corner of E. Williams Field and Val Vista. Buonos menu ranges from pizza, subs, calzones, Stromboli, pasta dinners and much more.

We attended the Family Fun Fest @ Buonos pizza today to see what they were all about. They gave out a free slice of pizza to everyone there. This was the best pizza our family has had in years! The staff there today were amazing, they went above & beyond to provide great service. We were so impressed we ordered a large to go! We will definitely be back to try more of their menu items. Another bonus was they offered Dr. Brown’s Cream soda & Black Cherry!!

Finally tried this spot, not bad. Generous slices, a little salty on the pizza. Wings were decent, I would recommend asking them to prepare extra crispy. Great mozzarella sticks! Overall, good meal. I would try a few more things for sure.

Went on 8/18/2023 for the 1st time. We ordered the white pizza, Stromboli and a sausage roll. Just to be fair I’m a 1st generation Italian from NJ/NY so I have high standards for pizza. Buonos delivered the absolute best I have had here and even back east. I honestly can’t wait to go back, seriously considering Friday night being Buonos Pizza night from here on out.

Very welcoming staff. I Always appreciate a place where that staff has a sense of humor. The pepperoni pizza I had was really good. The crust was cooked perfectly and they weren’t greedy with the pepperoni at all. The sauce had the right amount of sweetness. Will be back

First time trying Buono’s Pizza. Had the 16” pizza special with 10 wings. Definitely more food than the 3 of us could eat. We had plenty of pizza to take home. The Sicilian crust was delicious. My son enjoyed the hot wings. Also, while we were there a lady stopped in to claim her ring that she had left inside the business. They had it tucked away for her. These are the kind of people you want on your neighborhood.

My husband and I used to go regularly when we lived in Gilbert. We’ve since moved to Casa Grande. Today I was in town and I asked if I can get a pizza to cook at home. They par baked a large pepperoni pizza for us and I took it home and baked it. Yo Jimmy, there’s nothing like a New Jersey pizza, and yours is the best in town!! Thank you.

This place has the *Best* NYC style pizza in town + they sell by the slice and have great lunch deals. The owner is great to talk to while stopping by, he told us all about the home made sauce and dough and quality cheese and I believe it makes all the difference. Great small town local pizza shop, lucky to have it in the neighborhood.
