Delicious catfish, grouper, cheese grits. Salad bar was excellent with fancy greens and a very good choice of items, plus house made ranch salad dressing.The service was fast friendly and professional. The owner came by asking if we needed anything and how we were enjoying our meal. The view of Lake Blackshear from our table was very beautiful

We went to Lake Blackshear to go camping. While there we checked out a new restaurant on the lake! The Hushed Puppy @ The Buoy’s on Lake Blackshear. It was a great little place to stop into shop and dine. The boiled peanuts were good. Get ya some before you leave. They have a small shopping area for ya. Check out all the pictures they have hung up all over. The salad bar was good! They had crab salad at the salad bar. It was delicious! Try the homemade tomato, onions and cucumbers salad mix at the salad bar. The steak and grilled shrimp was delicious also. They were cooked just right. They even have ice cream. The kids loved the pizza. You can sit inside or enjoy the outdoor area and eat. The service is excellent. Our waitress was so sweet and friendly. All the people we talked too were so friendly and nice. The food is delicious. I am so glad we found a new place to go too while at the lake. We will be taking day trips back just to come eat here. It’s a beautiful place to come alone or bring the family to enjoy time on Lake. The location is perfect. The waitress said you can even come in your Boat on the water and park it at the docks. They have guys to help ya with that she said. If I remember correctly she said they had gas too for boaters out back at the docks.

Great food! The catfish was fried to a perfect crispness without a lot of oily residue and wasn’t too salty. Beat catfish I’ve had in years. We also had cheese sticks and fried pickles and sweet potato fries. They were equally amazing!

Lake Blackshear now has a great place to eat and great food, ice cream, pizza, and many more things that you need to enjoy your time in the lake. The service is excellent. The people are kinda. The food is delicious. I am so glad now we have a beautiful family place to enjoy our time at Lake. The location is perfect.

Very, very, very friendly wait staff. The food was excellent. The burger was perfect, and the wife’s surf and turf was cooked to perfection. Will be back. The only downside is no draft beer.

This was such a disappointment as we have been wanting to try Buoys for awhile. The crab bites and hush puppies were over cooked to the point of being burned. They should have never been served. The shrimp would have been good if they had been hot. The fries were greasy. The coleslaw was vile… more pickle relish than cabbage. The cheesecake with key lime drizzle was good. Service started out good but our server disappeared halfway thru the meal. The dining area was clean and we enjoyed the views. Too bad we can’t say the same for the food.
