This used to be the best burger place in town. Now the burgers are much smaller and no longer appear to be seasoned at all, very dry and bland. Pricey, too. $65 for 4 burgers! And no itemized receipt, so there is no way to know what you were even charged for. I ordered a cup of cheese for my fries and was given a glass of unsweetened iced tea instead.

It was 4th of July and everything was either closed due to the holiday, without power or had hour + wait times. We finally became desperate and searched Google. As first time customers we didn’t know what to expect. Needless to say the place was jam packed but we lucked out finding a table. Service didn’t take long at all considering the crowd. We shared an order of mini corn dogs and we each had a burger. The wife ordered the All American burger & I devoured the Gyro burger. Food & service were both great. Look forward to coming back!

I’m new to town and was in the mood for a burger. Naturally, I looked for recommendations. I see this place has 4+ stars so I’m in! Bourbon and Cowboy burgers were horrendously overcooked and dry! I couldn’t tell you which burger was which. I didn’t see a mushroom, cheese and no Bourbon sauce, in not sure I saw an onion ring vine to think about it. The fries were warm but limp. It was so disappointing I couldn’t justify a second chance …..

Burger Bar participated in 217FoodWeek during the 2021 Burger week with an offering of a “Dill Dip Burger” with homemade chips. I also added their fried pickle spears to my order. Everything was excellent. The dill dip is actually a generous portion of a beef and dill cheese ball spread, and wasn’t runny like a dip would be. It had plenty of chipped beef and chunks of dill pickle spears throughout and was nice and thick. The cold “dip” on the hot beef patty was a great contrast and it wasn’t too overwhelming dilly to detract from the taste of the burger. The chips were also generous and though I prefer really salty ones, these chips had a great flavor. The fried pickles were excellent with the ranch dip that was thrown in. I ate two of the spears before I took a picture, so take that into account when figuring portion size. I’m hoping the Dill Dip Burger will become a regular menu item.

Quaint little place off 5th street. It’s small in room, but big on tasty burgers and large drink selections. Great atmosphere, and a friendly wait staff. Has a beach vibe, and it’s great for a small get-together for game night.
