I had the Seafood Basket, which was fresh Drum, and they asked how I would like it cooked. I requested Blackened, and it was delicious. My family each had a burger and said they were great. Good fresh brewed tea was very good.

these were some seriously good burgers. best I’ve had in a minute actually. folks are super nice and pleasant to their customers too. only reason not a full 5 star is it isn’t a quick In and out experience. best to call ahead and then est once you get there. can take awhile if u order and wait.

The staff warned us that they had some big delivery orders working in the kitchen and it may be a while, but it was worth the wait. Enjoyable, juicy burgers with no disappointment in the sides. The hush puppies especially were a big hit with our group.

Very underwhelming. Service was a tad slow but not horrible. Biggest let down unfortunately was the food. Burger was dry and rather bland too much reliance on toppings to add flavor instead of the meat. Fries were done well and cooked great. The fried chicken strips were insanely bland. Some spices added to the breading or chicken mix would really help. I feel like if they paired their menu down a bit they could focus on better quality with a smaller menu. Trying to be too many things to too many people often leads to mediocrity across the board and unfortunately what I think is hindering them. Atmosphere is nice and clean and prices are very fair. Great customer service as well. I’d give 3.7 stars I’d Google let us but didn’t feel like a 4 was representative of our visit but rounded up.

We are huge supporters of local businesses and fully understand the challenges that small businesses face during these difficult times. However, $86 for a family of 4 to eat mediocre tasting food (2 cheeseburgers and 2 fish sandwiches) is a bit ridiculous, regardless of the increase in pricing of ingredients, which is the supposed reason based on other reviews! The customer service was subpar as well. Sadly, we will not be returning to support this local restaurant and instead will continue to dine at Bros Sandwich Shop where apparently the “increase in costs” has not impacted the quality of food they serve… everything is delicious there and cheaper as well!!

Every time I visit Avon/Hatteras Island I HAVE to stop by this locally owned/operated place! Very friendly staff, impeccably clean facility and pleasantly appetizing made-to-order foods that will keep you returning for more.

Food was very good. Lots of choices. I had chicken, bacon, ranch wrap with fries, which were fantastic. They have more than just burgers! Service was friendly. Fountain drinks were self-serve and refillable.

Delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly both ladies are doing incredible, customer service was great and they allowed us to stay a couple minutes after closing since we showed up late which was really kind. Really unique burger options, we got the blackened bleu burger, Carolina burger and their patty melt special. Prices are a little up there but for being one of the few burger joints this side of the island I think it’s well worth it. The layout is also really unique and private, the outside is a little bit confusing but don’t miss out!

The food was good. Our party had a mix of burgers, wraps and a sandwich. The ladies working were very polite. The low score is simply for the price. I had a breakfast burger, fries and a fountain drink. That was over $22. Our party of 4 was $93. I don’t even know how that was possible. Can’t say we will be back. When lunch hits $100 for 4 average people, there’s a problem.

I’m going with a 3/5 here. Unfortunately, it’s just way too expensive for what it is. At the end of the day, this is a quick burger/fry/dog type of joint. That is it. However, it’s a bit much to be dropping $20 for a pretty normal burger + fries… $7 for a plain hotdog is also a stretch. The menu did not indicate (and still doesn’t as the time of writing this) that all sandwiches come with a side.
