We heard about Burger Carte from a friend and decided to give them a try after a long day seeing the sights along Route 60. I wish we would have tried them sooner because the food was excellent. We each got burgers and they were perfectly cooked, juicy, well seasoned and with a great char for that extra flavor. The toppings were fresh and well prepared as well. We each got a side, one order of chili cheese fries and an order of pickle fries, and both were very good as well.

This local place has been a favorite spot for a long time. They have a nice menu with a lot of variety and overall the food is very good. I especially love the burgers. Don’t expect a fancy sut down experience as it is mainly takeout but there are a few picnic benches out front to relax and eat. Definitely worth a stop to try them out.

This place takes you right back to a more simple time…It is set in a beautiful setting in the area. And it is just good old style road stop food it’s greasy and delicious and the people are so nice. We rode down there to get lunch and we loved it.

I’ve gone here since I was a toddler and recently read it changed hands. Atmosphere absolutely different now. The bathroom was filthy, stunk and no toilet paper. Nobody greets you when you go in or even bothers to smile. Sandwich was good, fries somewhat burned. It was sad.

We just ate at the Burger Carter tonight. We, my brother and I, both had Cowboys. By far the best barbeque, cheeseburger deluxe sandwich I have had this side of Heaven. You better get one and then be ready for Heaven.

It’s a very hot day and the staff that’s working is clearly short staffed. But, the worse part is they are working without and kinda of Air Conditioning. Absolutely crazy but I’m sure the owner won’t work in there with the heat! Plus, is the staff is excellent but should consider finding a better job with a better work environment!!!
