Would give less but that ain’t a option. Service was poor food was also cold. The sandwich that I got was literally covered and smothered in ketchup. I think the put the whole bottle on it. Definitely not going back to this place. Also seen a worker (not the manager) take the money out of the donation and put it in his pocket.

went today at 10 am the black lady behind counter was extremely rude doesn’t realize that she works in fast food …had a coupon and she wouldn’t take it because they are expensive as it is and wouldn’t approve it she was very nasty and rude I will never come here again she needs to be fired don’t like your job get another one don’t take it out on customers and you are supposed to accept coupons for burger king because you are burger King!!!!! you’re just lazy or cheap never again don’t eat here

As a midpoint between my sister’s house downstate and my home upstate, Sloatsburg used to be our go-to rest stop. It had gas, Dunkin Donuts, and a Burger King. However, the service we received at the Sloatsburg Burger King on 10/31/21 will make us think twice before stopping again. I understand everything is going electronic and most restaurants now have self-service kiosks, however, when I attempted to use the kiosk at Sloatsburg I was unable to find/select a kids meal. I approached the plexi-glassed counter/register to order since I could see they were offered on the overhead menu display. I was ignored by two employees who continued to pass by as if I weren’t standing there. Finally I was able to wave over a gentleman and ask if I could please place my order at the register since the kiosk did not show kids meals as an option. He shook his head and pointed back to the kiosk. I protested that they did not have kids meals listed and I could clearly see it on the overhead menu. He firmly repeated kiosk and turned away from me to return to the back. So, I begrudgingly ordered through the kiosk a four piece nugget for my daughter, a regular cheese burger for my son, and two whopper juniors for my husband and I… no kids meal option was available at any point through the online kiosk process. We each got sweet teas. Unfortunately I wish the limited menu on the kiosk and the lack of service were all I had to complain about, but no. The burgers were tiny, much smaller than the buns and the sweet tea was heavily watered down. We ended up getting separate drinks from the marketplace on our way out. I have to say I was severely disappointed with the quality of the service and food there.

Terrible Burger King. First off, this is not a full burger King, this has a limited menu and is hosted by HMS Host. They are incredibly slow, whether there is a line or not, you will wait. The food is consistently bad and oftentimes incorrect. They have forgetten cheese on a cheeseburger. Doesn’t matter if you order a sauce with your nuggets or chicken fries; it will most definitely not be in the bag and you have to wait to get the guys attention to even have a hope of getting sauce. The staff seems like they couldn’t care less, that is if you can even find a staff member. They don’t listen, their mind is somewhere else. They will continue their conversation while you are ordering and then ask you what you just said, multiple times. The workers in this entire rest stop are part of a work opportunity program, and do not care about their jobs or even make an attempt to fake it. I have been to this location multiple times because it is on the way back from my route, and it’s really not worth it. The fries aren’t salted, sometimes they’re hard and cold. Also the prices are very high compared to a regular Burger King, which is to be expected because it’s in a rest stop, but still, to pay more for food that is way below Burger King standards is asinine. The managers seem to work hard to make up for their useless workers but it’s not enough. They know you’re a captive audience who won’t really be around long because it’s a rest stop, so they get away with it. But with being here multiple times, it is consistently terrible. Do not recommend.

Ordered 4 original chicken sandwiches with cheese. Paid $1.00 extra for 4 slices each of cheese. Got back in the car, went on I-87, opened the bag and all 4 sandwiches had no cheese. Place was too busy, not enough staff.

We were just at this store today at about 4 pm. The whole service area was busy. We went to order and no one would work. A guy with a mop could see us and was talking to someone that we could hear. But neither would come to the counter. A third person who looked like a manager strolled in with food from another restaurant. We asked the two that we could see if they were open. We asked multiple times and they IGNORED US!! So we left WITH THE ENTIRE LINE OF CUSTOMERS! Whoever owns this particular franchise: your employees DO NOT CARE about your store!!
