Every time (four times) we come to this Burger King at different hours they tell us that they are doing a “shift change.” Staff here do not want to be here, they sound so miserable when talking to you. The young lady at the register was extremely rude, uncaring, unprofessional, honestly if she was my employee I’d fire her for that type of attitude with customers. Especially when it was unwarranted. Spoke with the manager and she made an excuse for the girl and made an apology explaining it was to hot, the heat was her issue. We were traveling to Deland from Georgia . Been driving for 6 hours and ordered, got to window and they do not take $100 dollar bills. My order was $30 . That’s all I had on me because we dropped off someone who lives here. How are tourists supposed to know this. Where I live they take all money. She informed me no burger king will take that $100. So we left hungry and upset. We didn’t eat all day , so we will drive back hungry I know Georgia bk will take my money. I love Deland tho grew up here. But don’t bring big money here. Unfortunately, this is maybe why there are lots of Burger Kings closing. It’s not what it used to be. The lady in the driveway was rude and went ingot to the window she didn’t greek me and stayed silent the whole time. She gave me my card back and left and never saw her again. Someone else brought my food. What a bad experience.

You can never get an order right in the drive thru. Today I told the lady 3 times that I wanted an #8 meal which is chicken bacon and Swiss cheese, I get home and it’s the original plain chicken sandwich why is it that I can walk in and order, it’s perfect but go thru the drive thru and the order IS NEVER RIGHT. I think they do this purposely because 8 out of 10 drive-thru won’t come back.
