I didn’t think I’d ever give a Burger King a positive review, but they definitely earned four stars. Even though they were short staffed and seemed fairly busy judging by the drive through, the lady in the drive through was very friendly and not your usual bored get-me-out-of-here typical McDonald’s/Burger King/Wendy’s worker. They did forget our nuggets but we drove back and they apologized and promptly replaced them. Keep it up guys 🙂

I think I was dealing with Bernie a very nice older gentleman. His customer service was a breath of fresh air. It wasn’t just me either it was other costumers. Well I hope I got his name right. But regardless of his impressive skills. This burger king is very clean and modern and put together. I used the restrooms and had to remind myself I was only in a burger king not some fancy restaurant.

Went there tonight for a quick dinner. All went great until I got home and opened up my sandwich. I ordered a Rodeo Cheeseburger…which ended up having NO CHEESE on it! I then went to do the online survey thru BK only to find that my “receipt” didn’t have the top or bottom portions printed on it. This means no “Store #” or “Survey Code” to put in the boxes on the form. Therefore, can’t do the survey. No point in calling the store bc they just let the phone ring and ring until it gets kicked to the answering service. It’s so sad that this BK has been here for a little over 25 years and it runs the same way it did back when I worked there my Junior and Senior years of H.S….SLOW & INEFFECTIVE! They have made some attempts over the years to improve the reputation of this BK but with very little long-term success. Sucks because this is the ONLY fast food place in all of Saugatuck/Douglas. If u want to eat at a different fast food restaurant, then u have to go to Holland (about 8-10 miles North on I-196/US-31) or South Haven (about 20 miles South on I-196/US-31) for anything else. Ultimately, this is a good place to jump off the highway to grab a quick bite to eat & a drink, maybe use the facilities. If u grab drive-thru, please make sure u check your order/food for accuracy before u leave the parking lot.

I don’t know what it is about this location to every time I go there it seems like somebody that works there goes out of their way to pay attention to me and I love that so my meal I get barbecue bacon double cheeseburger large fry extra salt large cup ice only and then I fill it with water

This is the worst service me and my coworker have ever received at any establishment. The lady over the intercom (I think manager) was rude while we placed our order. My coworker realized he only had 1 patty on his double burger. We went back up to the intercom and the lady literally accused us of lying and claimed she saw 2 Patty’s on the burger. She huffs and puffs and tells us to pull forward. Out comes a worker that hands us a cold, single patty in a box. We had to fix our own burger. Not to mention their prices are HIGHER than every other burger King in the area. Never coming back

Hi. I’m sorry to report we have witnessed and have had several issues with “manager mike” closing the restaurant lobby down hours before the stated times. One night recently, we witnessed “manager mike” aggressively made his rounds, rudely informing every customer including among others, a young mother, a grand mother, and two little whopper juniors, that everyone in the lobby has seven minutes to scarf down their gruel and get out. This happens over an hour before closing time. There is an absolutely awesome girl that works the counter that shines beautifully in spite of him. She s always smiling and laughing as he has his fits. We have witnessed this many times and he wont even address you as a customer if u ask him about what he is doing. He just scurries away like a little rat w the most ridiculous walk.

went to the Burger King in Saugatuck wasted all the gas just to get there to be told at 9 o’clock that they were unable to make my order and they weren’t taking any more orders because a team member had walked out. I’m sorry the last time I checked it only took one person to make chicken nuggets but I guess it takes a team. like so many other fast food chains their Director of operations really needs to be aware of the immaturity level of their employees

Tried to order inside right behind another person and right before I could order the manager or head cook RUDLY yelled from the back that the person in front of me would be the last that they served that ordered inside, bathroom was also very dirty. I then went elsewhere to get food.
