Not sure if they were short staffed, but had to wait a few minutes before I got to place my order (I was the only one in line). Then while waiting for my food, could see/hear that my sandwich was ready, but cashier acted like it wasn’t their job to get dine-in trays ready. So as I stood there waiting, after a few minutes the drive thru had an order for the same sandwich, so was taken to fill that order. As I watched people who came in after me get their orders, I was getting a little irritated. Finally, a shift manager I suppose, saw the order still on the screen, and got another sandwich made, to fill my order. Guess I wouldn’t consider 10+ minutes for a Whopper & fries quick service. Food was okay once I got it.

I don’t go to any of the Burger Kings in Des Moines. This Burger King is the best one but I’ve eaten at in about 30 mi radius from my house. Every time I go through indianola to go to my mom’s house I stop and get Burger King on the way, for sure. These guys always do a great job. The food is always fresh It never seems like it has been sitting out, it’s always clean, and the staff is always nice. Keep it up guys!!
