I had previously left a 5-star review but after several horrific visits afterwards I need to change this to make the public aware of some potentially harmful food being served here.

So tried to order whopper with lettuce wrap. And diet drink out of diet drink and said we don’t do wraps.

First of all our Whoppers were perfectly cooked and put together. Had an absolutely great experience. When my sister and I decided on Burger King I didnt think it would be such a long journey but we’re so glad it turned out this way. We started in Independence near the 2 that recently closed, went to the one on Noland to be told their system is down in the middle of the evening for 15 minutes plus, there were two cars in front of me so this happened right as I pulled up to the speaker. So left there and bypass the one at the West end of 23rd Street because it’s always a bad experience, went to the 291 and 23rd Street location to be greeted by a dark parking lot and drive-thru maze with a dark menu and no one coming to the speaker, they were definitely open and had two people inside but they seem to be completely aloof. So instead of waiting any longer we left and went straight to this one that we knew had a good reputation in the past. At the speaker I was going to do two separate orders to accommodate extra coupons and to avoid the issue I’ve had at others with multiple coupons and save everyone frustration of telling me no and changing things up lol. Instead the guy at the speaker suggested that I could put them all in one order if I wanted, which was awesome, I couldn’t have been happier at that point. Coupons are important to me and sometimes you need more than 1 sometimes to be able to afford food and its super cool when places let you do this. Ordering process was simple and not rushed and comfortable, at the window we waited a few minutes for fresh food and we were not disappointed. The potato sticks (fries) were perfect, literally couldn’t have been better. The Whoppers were so good and put together well it was like the person that made them was going to eat it themselves. I couldn’t picture a better Whopper to be honest. Portioned perfectly, the meat and cheese lined up which is not common. I’m not usually that picky if a person and I don’t look for the perfect sandwich, I’m fine as long as my sandwich is at least somewhat stacked up and has at least what it’s supposed to on it so I can rearrange, but this was magical!! Lol . The pictures do not do it justice of course but I tried to capture some of it.

The food was terrible. The French fries were cold. I ordered no pickles on two of the double cheeseburgers. All the double cheeseburgers had pickles. Only one had pickles.

Great place for the, “hey I’m a single father, down to his last nerve and getting too old for this stuff but I’ve got to feed the children” kind of place. Employees were very nice.

The people that work here are really nice and smile. I don’t feel rushed when trying to order. The food was hit and tasty. I see this consistently when I come here. They also keep the store clean and I see them wiping stuff down often. I will be sure to keep coming back here.

They really overdid the jalapeños on my wife’s whopper Jr. She didn’t order them on her burger to begin with.
