This diner has been around for a very long time. The building is dated and there is a certain smell about the place. Not a smell that is horrible, just the smell of an older building. What offsets the older building smell is the food and service. The food was very good and much less expensive than Huddle House, Cracker Barrel, etc. The service was good. Friendly and attentive. Overall this is a good place to eat at a great value.

The cook was not wearing gloves and touching other foods after touching raw meat for the grill. The cook had no gloves on at all and never washed his hands. The server said we do things a little bit backwards here. Other then these major issues the main dining area was clean and the food was not to bad

Stopped in to eat breakfast, was told it was good. We set there for about 5 minutes trying to smell food over the smell of sewer but couldn’t get there. There is no way to enjoy any food when you can’t even smell it. Can’t see how it passes inspection. Can’t answer any of the questions.

I’ve heard the biscuits and gravy are delicious, but I had the veggie omelette. It was edible, but I wouldn’t crave it again. It took a long time to get our food, but our server was prompt on coffee refills, much appreciated!

Have gotten all you can eat fish many times in the past, and it has been sometime since we got any. But being hungry for their fish we decided to get some today. Totally disappointed! Fish was not the same as before. Very thin filets, edges tough to chew. Cole slaw was not made fresh, and tasted like it had horseradish in it.

Only the second time we’ve ever been here, but the food is great! My wife had the Book Burger and I had a breakfast platter. Staff was super busy so expect a wait from time to time. Arrived and sat for about 10 minutes before we were approached for our order.
