So….don’t know what to make of the place but I think the bartender hustled me. I ordered a Mexican Elvis which the menu stated $11 but he charged me $16. I asked him why and he gave me such long drawn out excuse that I thought, wow you really need the money! Regardless, the drink was not good and I don’t recommend it, nor the food. Service??? Not good.

This place looked really promising. Creative burgers, fun atmosphere. Unfortunately, the burgers were really bad for $15 burgers, heavily salted, dry, and bland. McDonald’s tastes better. Seems like it’s better as a bar than a burger place.

Excellent in all ways. The style of the place was good, the staff were friendly, and the burger was great! Which is actually a tad surprising since I got a black bean burger, which don’t normally end well. I am glad I listened to the employee who told me it isn’t like other veggie patties. It has flavor and holds together completely! I was able to substitute the veggie patty in the lowrider burger, so I got to enjoy all of the flavors I wanted. The fries with it were also really great! I 100% suggest this place to anyone who loves burgers, vegetarian or not.

My family and I have been coming here for years. There has never been an issue and even if something was wrong, they are right on it. It’s sad to see the aptos one has closed but glad to see this one has stayed. I would definitely recommend. Don’t listen to these silly reviews about them wearing masks or about the prices. If you don’t have money to go out and eat, then don’t go out and eat. If you don’t want people wearing masks, then don’t go out.

Idk why i did this but I bought the phatty which is two grilled cheese with a burger inside. My wife was judging me and I am still trying to burn off the cals. Anyway, classic Santa Cruz spot with modest selection of craft brew.
