It has a pretty nice staff. The prices are okay. It is not the same as it was as a Taste Freeze many years ago. The menu is the same, but the quality not so much. The catsup is awesome, but the chili dogs and ice cream are not. I come here for nostalgia from days of past when passing through. It is a nice stop when traveling down 460. Ice cream was okay, burger was okay. It’s pretty standard for a roadside burger and ice cream joint. Complete with cook and cashier that you can’t tell whether they’re brother and sister or boyfriend and girlfriend. Everyone’s super friendly though. No complaints in terms of service.

I have gone here for years since 1975 and it never changes no upgrades. They are friendly and food not bad but place is nasty. Ceiling tiles dirty, stained like something growing on them. A big piece of plywood leaned by counter which bottom is dirty, no paint using it to post anouncements. Going in restroom you have to squeeze in door because they are storing a icecream or milkshake machine in there. Yuck of all places. The owner needs to upgrade and clean up. Sad…

They have great food and the prices are really cheaper than most all of the fast food chains. The staff was very friendly and you could tell they care about the customers and don’t act like it kills them to speak like alot of other burger joints.

It is just a whole in the wall with a grill . Good burger and fries cheap price. Don’t expect a 5 star restaurant. It’s just good food . I would wait to take a date there. Maybe after 4 or 5 dates and get the milkshake .

My husband and I have been going here for years. A great place to go for a burger or hotdog and some ice cream. I went in today and was short a dollar.The girl behind the counter made it up for me because she recognized my face! Nothing like home town service and friendship!

It’s nothing to write home about, but it’s decent food and it’s cheap. I like that it’s a small town family sit down, and the employees are mostly teenagers. It’s a nice little spot to sit and eat, while helping to keep a small business open where teens can get some work experience.
