this was my first time ever experiencing African food, I had Okra ; white rice & debie , Ill start by saying this meal is amaazzzingggggg . My friend recommended this place & it was really good, when I went back by myself one day whoever was cooking was rude as hell , I almost didnt come back but I was craving it. I went back just to give it one last shot & im so happy I did because I come here almost once a week. The woman i spoken with on this encounter was real cool & helpful. I havent tried anything else on their menu but the Okra & white rice , TOP TIER . OMG THE BEST PART IS , THEIR SOOOOO AFFORDABLE & YOU GET ALOT OF FOOD. I love it there .

They don’t listen when you ask for extra sauce. Then after repeatedly asking they say it’s a dollar each (EXTREMELY SMALL AMOUNT no exaggeration). The food is great other than that. UPDATE!!! They now charge 2$ for a pinch of sauce, they only have 3 items on the menu THE OKRA, if they don’t have the okra they only have the spinach and the goat meat and the fried chicken. Very limited but they do give a decent amount of food and they are usually only nice to their kind, I don’t go as often as I use to.. maybe every 5/6 months. I don’t like the disrespect, the lack of listening and the blatant racism

We always order food when we come in from out of state. My husband is Burkinabe so we always try to support. Food is very delicious. Service is decent. The neighbor is a little sketchy at night though. I’ve been here during the day previously and it’s not as bad.

The food is okay I love the lamb but it’s extremely tough I feel they should cook it more so it’s tender like it use to be when I first went there and once I drove all the way there and I got some black eyed peas that were really burnt. I am glad they went down in their prices tho. If they start making the lamb tender again I may go back
