Waiter was very nice, I knew the food would be good when the chips and salsa were good. He was very attentive and nice bringing us unlimited chips and salsa upon request also. We also got our own salsa cups so we didn’t have to share which was great. Salsa could have been a little spicier but my kids were with me so we all had the mild one. Bathroom and restaurant looked and smelled clean. Tables and chairs were packed in making it a little tight in there. Meat was a bit dry but otherwise everything had a good flavor even the rice was good which I’ve had unseasoned many times other places. Ice water was good and didn’t taste and smell like nasty city water like you get many times in restaurants. I can’t remember what they called them but I got their special beans that had sausage, bacon and more in them, very good! Would go back again if I lived closer.

Don’t let the name fool you. It’s not Mexican fast food. From the salsa to the fillings – everything was fresh made. We had shrimp burrito and California casadilla with beef. Outstanding! The shrimp, which were huge, (very surprised) and the steak and the all the veggies were grilled perfectly. Add to it excellent service and clean it was one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve been to and we’ll certainly return soon. Tried taco soup for lunch, very tasty. Would order it again for certain.

Very detailed place.only thing i didnt like was that all the food came out at the same time including the salad, so there wasnt much room to place all the plates while/after eating.update 11-17-22 much better taste’s than before even though it wasn’t bad at all but the tastes are more authentic than before!even! With it’s branch of Tex Mex servers have also improved and the food and a la carte and even appetizers

Based on the name of the restaurant “burrito express” I expected it to serve a fast food style menu. Instead it was a nice sit down restaurant with a great menu. “Express” is appropriate since we got our food in record time. Highly recommend the chips and salsa.

This place has the best food and salsa of any place I have ever eaten. Every single time my husband and I come to eat we are always shocked out how fresh and flavorful it is. While it is on the pricier side for Mexican cuisine, it is so worth it to us. They order ahead app works well too so that is an added bonus for nights we are pressed for time and need to drive by and grab with while not delaying the rest of what I have to get done. 5/5 Stars and would recommend to anyone!
