Had lunch. Not busy at all on a weekday. Would give a 4- . Food was great. Loved the fresh made quac. Horchata (I am picky) was good. Got the enchiladas meal, there were 2 small ones on the plate. Mole sauce = yummy! Wait staff very nice.

This is one of those places you really want to like. The service is friendly and speedy. The chips and salsa were not up to the standard of any of the other St Charles Mexican restaurants. Chips were thick and not close to warm. The red salsa was flavorful. Overall the food was average.

I tried this place for lunch on a Wed afternoon. It was beautiful inside, but no customers at all. They had slots in a separate area that was pretty clean. The service was fantastic. The girl seemed surprised when she looked up and saw me. Maybe not used to customers at 2.

This place is a great find. Ignore the previous poor reviews, they are under new management and it shows! We had a great experience. The torta cubana was fantastic! They have a great tequila selection. I would recommend “La Reina” or “Atanasio”. They both go down very smooth. Will definitely be back!

Don’t let the pictures fool you, I went there with high expectations since the pictures told a different story. Got there the waiter was polite. The chips and salsa was terrible, it tasted exactly like shrimp cocktail sauce. The horchata tasted like water. When I got my torta there was nothing special about it, just dry meat and no avocado. I do not recommend it at all.

Ordered carryout for the first time from here. Food is amazing. Large portions. Owner said if we didn’t like it, to return it. That says enough! We will be back at least once a week.
