We went at a time when the place was empty. Able to sit where we wanted. The food was good. We only went here because some family members recommended we try it. We’ll go back again, as they had a large menu.

I moved to San Francisco eight years ago and whenever I come back to San Diego, I have to come here. It is the best burrito in San Diego. The chicken burrito is perfection.

Drive through takes forever even though barely any cars are in line. Food is overpriced compared to other taco shops right across the street. Red sauce isn’t very good. Rolled tacos were horrible! They were so soggy I could barely eat them. I’m honestly surprised they are still in business. They aren’t good enough to be competitive in San Diego’s saturated Mexican food market. I hope they go out of business. Just a waste of space imo.

Food is good but they constantly mess up orders. I have given them too many chances but not anymore. Worst order was 2 steak breakfast burritos, one was fine, and the other one was wrapped with 2 tortillas to make it look big because it had way less ingredients than the first one.

First time here, the food was okay, but expensive. The drive through wait was very long. I didn’t think it was quite worth the wait or cost. But then again, I’m not really the big of a fan of Mexican food.

Our G-daughter wanted to come here for our after school hanging out together. She already knew what she wanted as she’d been before with her dad. Tacos! She ordered a carne asada taco, a birria and (I think) a fried fish taco. I guess her favorites. I was in a strange mood and ordered a flour shell grilled chicken bowl. Wanted something crunchy. Overall it was a pretty good bowl. Came with more ingredients than I expected. Maybe more than are needed. There was the chicken, beans, rice, cheese, lettuce, guac, tomatoes, corn, onions, sour cream… very generous for a big appetite. If I was to order it again, I would ask for black beans instead of refried so it wouldn’t get mushy.

I was excited to try this place because of all the amazing reviews…but I was disappointed. I’m not saying the food is BAD, it’s just not my type of flavor.

Went in for a late night drive-through run. Ordered Buffalo fries, and they were amazing. The rest of the order was wrong, the burrito was not correct, and the side of beans was missing. No big deal I’ll call and get it sorted out. No answer the first 3 calls, finaly the person that answered said they would not refund the missing item and i wpuld have to return the burrito the next day to get it fixed. Hopefully a manager tomorrow sorts this out so I can give them a proper review. So far would not return.

I have a Google map saved pinning Mexican food places to try in San Diego. Button and Fries was not on my list, but after finishing up a job in El Cajon, I decided to give it a shot.
