Very delicious but the space is a little bit small.

For a hole in the wall Korean experience, this is the place to come. Home style comfort Korean food with a small but delicious menu and reasonable prices.

Best soondae soup I ever ate! Flavorful and authentic. Owners/workers were all very friendly with great service. Small and cozy with good food!

Hole in the wall. This restaurant has less than 15 seats, so most people make pick-up orders.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. Sometimes I rent a car from NYC or take the subway and the bus to go to this restaurant. The inside looks like the kitchen of a grandma living in Korea, and the taste reflects it.

Very clean and flavorful ox tail broth, it doesn’t taste like they add any other things like msg or anything to make it seem more creamy. I think this might be my fav seollongtang , a true hidden gem mom and pop spot.

the portion was good and the food was so delicious. I had to heat up again because the delivery took 2 hours due to the distance (around 7 mi) but it was still worth it.

You never know what kind of gem you’re going to find when you try out a “hole in the wall”, but this place is not one of them. This place is so small, everyone is quite inhibited in movement. When I came by, two popular menu items were already sold out. I was encouraged to try a “special” which consisted of sliced beef and noodles. For the price I was expecting a large portion, but instead got a bowl very shy of ingredients (not enough noodles!). I also ordered the sliced pig’s leg (Jokbal), very good only after dipping it in the accompanying sauce. The soup was also bland. This might be why you are given a salt shaker as part of your dining set up. The staff was okay, the male being more friendly & outgoing, but I’m sorry, there was absolutely nothing I could put my finger on to bring me back. No personality in the food or staff to at least create a bigger atmosphere that would break out of this tiny box.

Busan Gukbap was recommended by my husband’s boss who is Korean and he said it’s one of the most popular restaurants among their groups.

A no fuss petite restaurant serving Korean classic soup dishes. Point, nod, and enjoy.
