Bush’s closes at 9 PM. I waited at the drive-thru for 30 minutes for a worker to come out at 852PM to tell me they were not accepting any more orders after the car in front of me. I told him I had been waiting for 30 minutes, and he just walked off after denying me service. About 3 or 4 cars pulled away because we weren’t getting service. The only reason why I waited is because I figured it would get some fresh chicken because I thought the hold up was them cooking.

I always love Bushes in Heights (by Walmart) their staff is always friendly & patient I know I annoy them with my special orders but they get it right EVERY TIME me & my son have a Bushes lunch date every week since school was out (it’s his fav place) today we were 1st there even tho we were early we were greeted by general manager he was super friendly & funny I kept picking with him cause he didn’t take notes for my order but he promised he got me (& he got it ALL way right)…it wasn’t just that he took the order he went in fixed my order & was the one that brought back out to us ‼️ with management these days this is rare ,he could have passed it off to one of his employees…I applaud you for not just sitting behind a desk & leading your staff in the right direction with professionalism & positive vibes❤️❤️❤️

Mac n cheese very watered down. Disgusting. Chicken had a funny taste. It taste like fish. Soo disgusted. Chicken smells very fishy. I wonder if that’s a sign it’s bad then they got the nerve to be out there begging for tips. SMH Over priced

So this is what I received. I checked the okra I which was so burnt and cold I sent it back, the runner said oh you wanted it fresh? Ughhh shouldn’t it be . Came back was hot but very dark as if the oil needs to be cleaned or they were re dipped, who knows. Got home and checked the other things and they were BURNT & COLD! The rolls were so burnt they were hollow and the tender rolls were the same. Just look at the bottom of that tender roll . Overly cooked so much there was not meat. Basically gave me cracklin on toast! Reminder as to why I do not eat there and won’t be back. Save yourself the time in line. This location is trash.

Why do you bother having baked chicken on the menu. You run out of baked chicken just after the lunch rush . Ya’ll do not make any more baked chicken until dinner. Apparently, it’s too much of a hassle to make baked chicken after 1 pm. This is very disappointing

It’s Bushes Chicken. Love the okra and corn nuggets. They serve country gravy with the chicken. The sweet tea is sweet like I make it at home. You gotta try it once to see if it is a place you want to keep going to.

Almost 10 months in Texas and though I drive by this place numerious time, it’s the first time I stopped to try it. I was delightfully surprise how good the chicken was. It was crispy outside and moist inside and not to mention it’s really delicious.
