I just got home from picking up some sweet teas from them, and let me say they are always so sweet. Today was even better than most days, the young boy who took my order(i didnt get his name) was so patient, considering I had my dog with me and he wanted all the attention. If your hankering for some fried gizzards this is the place. It’s my goto for gizzards. The gizzards are very nice sized. I prefer them soft but Bush’s only cooks them one way. Still good though. I like them with freedom fries, white gravy, and a roll. Since after the pandemic I started eating my gizzards differently. I love to put some ranch in a small condiment cup then pour in some buffalo wing sauce. For those who love ranch & wing sauce…”together”. DELICIOUS! But that’s my taste buds. Even just straight wing sauce is great, too. Fanta strawberry w/ ice is my goto drink with fried gizzards or chicken. Ok, so I have never bn inside this location. I always go to drive-thru. Service is good for the way drive-thru is done here. And, yes the food is good here!

My first visit I was not impressed. On my second visit, I noticed little pleasant things. Like the chicken pieces were larger and meatier than the big chains. Warm dinner rolls like the original KFC as a child. Not lousy biscuits. The breading was nice, crispy, and traditional. No special 11 herbs & spices or hot spicy marinade. I will go back and recommend it.

Chicken livers should not be on the menu, I’ve tried now about 4 times recently and still they are out and I mean 6pm. I’m at the point where I’ll no longer go there, it infuriating and ridiculous not to carry everything on your menu. No excuse period!
