What a wonderful find this morning! We were exploring the area after a visit to Montgomery and we wanted to find a place for breakfast. After we searched for local restaurants, we decided to stop at Bush’s Diner and we are very happy that we did.

A modern southern roadside diner. Western Omelette was like a Japanese fluffy omelette which I appreciated. The cheese and fillings meshed perfectly. They eagerly brought me some salsa for my meal. The hash browns were better than Waffle House and they put more of them on your plate. The biscuit appeared to have butter chunks baked in it. Coffee is par-ish for such a place. If Denny’s is Waffle House for people who don’t know how to fight, this is the Denny’s for the regular person who wants a well made meal in a cozy, local atmosphere.

Stopped for breakfast and it was very good. Bush’s Diner is very much like a Waffle House or Huddle House. I think the building used to be the Huddle House before they relocated. Bush’s offer breakfast or lunch at any time. For beakfast they offer various plates with typical egg, waffle,etc. Plus sides. For lunch they also have sandwiches, burgers, and food baskets. The staff was friendly and efficient. Jaime was a fantastic server, often checking up on me. Their health score was 98. And their hours are 6am to 3pm per Google and they are closed Sunday and Monday.

We ate breakfast at Bush’s and it was great home cooking. The grits was hot, I had the bacon omelet it was huge. We were stuffed. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I recommend this place for a great breakfast.

Love, love, love Bushes and that cute little waitress, Jaime. She’s great, Boss is great and it’s a very homey place to go and eat and just chill out and be yourself. The whole place is just a comfortable place to be.

Didn’t really taste the food after watching the staff wearing gloves touch everything in the kitchen and raw meat without changing gloves or washing hands. Then put the burgers together with those same gloves I left.

While traveling to Florida I stopped at this restaurant for lunch. I could tell that the building had been there a long time. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh. I’m glad I stopped here.
