Got the lobster platter. Received 1 small lobster tail and 4 little shrimp w a few fries. 4, little shrimp! Respectfully 8 would HV been acceptable . Considering the size. Tasted ok. Lobster was fried in burnt oil . For $27. I don’t think I’ll eat there again . People were very nice . Place was not clean . I love to support my colored ppl. But, they can do better . 3 stars based on cooking w old grease and not being clean .

I have been hearing about Butler’s Cafe all over Long Island. I finally had the pleasure to try it today. Turkey baked ziti, yams, mac & cheese & (bbq chicken wings – not shown, I was very hungry). Good stuff. I just wish Butler’s Cafe had a large visible sign out front.

I ordered good from uber eats here about 3 weeks ago. I got a update the food was ready about 40 mins later to pick up. I was doing some shopping and got there about 1hr after I ordered the food. When I got there the guy said he was about to cancel the order because they ran out of batter. I asked why was there a update that the food was ready for pick up then. He could have just cancelled it. He said I should cancel it. I said no because I would lose my money and not recieve my food…he ignored me. I was very respectful with asking for my money back and they were rude. The place is dirty and unkempt for a food place. I was happy to support a black business but definitely disappointed with customer service and how the place looked.
