Fantastic. Ambiance: 3 rooms (that I saw). An entrance with low light and welcoming music. A dining room with a bar. Another dining area in the back. Bathroom was clean. Service by Michael was pleasant, professional and friendly. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. Now for the food: I’ve been to many countries and have eaten in many, many places. The food served at butter was superb. Maybe even top 10 I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the sushi flat bread appetizer. Cocktails were great too. Not cheap, but worth every dime.

Honestly, this was one of the most wonderful dining experiences I’ve had. The restaurant and staff are true gems! The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. They made us feel welcomed and completely comfortable. The owner, her son (the top-notch chef), and the bartender were all the best. I could have this incorrect but I believe the chef was formally at Le Bec Fin in NYC. Everything we ate and drank was amazing. I would have come back the next night with a group if we didn’t already have plans. The restaurant is the first floor of The Frogtown Inn Bed & Breakfast. When I’m back in the Pocono area, this will be my first stop! ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing meal for my husband’s birthday from start to finish! Definitely a new favorite spot if we are in the Poconos. Starting from even the seasoned bread was delicious! I got the Butter Burger which was the best mushroom burger I think I’ve ever eaten and the fries were perfectly crispy and soft. Probably the best cooked fries I have ever tasted. Not one soggy fry. My husband got the pork chops which had a delicious glaze. Then we finished it off with the chocolate torte topped with homemade coffee ice cream which was not too sweet and you could tell that ice cream was special. Loved every part of the meal and our server was delightful!

This place was amazing start to finish. We came here for my parents anniversary, a party of 9, so they sat us in a private room in the back and decorated specifically for their anniversary, a very thoughtful touch. The owner came down and introduced herself and told us her story of Butter, it made our visit all the more special. The servers were knowledgeable, attentive, and prompt. We were never waiting for a beverage, the food came out all at the same time, hot, perfectly cooked, and just phenomenal flavors. That garlic bread to start was just amazing. This place is a one hour drive from where I live but its worth it, I will definitely come back. In our entire party only one person didn’t like their meal, claiming the veal was overcooked and TOO flavorful, but I had a bite and it was great so I’m ignoring his complaint.

So glad we found this little place in the middle of the northern Poconos. The food was really outstanding. The staff was even better. Next time we come up, will be sure to book a night in their B and B.

We had such a great experience we went back twice in the same weekend! LOVE! LOVE! the decor! We found they change it up every month! Totally impressive. The food was AMAZING!!!! this is a definite Gem in this neighborhood!
