Host was welcoming. Server, not so much: he didn’t give eye contact nor greeting. I had questions about the menu, instead of him explaining, he just started pointing. I gave him my order and he nodded as to him understanding my order yet once he got to the host station he turned around and repeated an incorrect order to me.

This place was awesome. We sat right next to the fish tank. The service was quick food was hot and delicious . We went on a Wednesday for lunch as soon as they opened. Not very many people. Totally worth it!!

I was invited here for karaoke night on Friday. To my surprise, I realized it’s a Chinese restaurant and an entertainment place. There are two sections. One portion is the restaurant, and the other is the louge. Before walking into the establishment, I noticed the aesthetics outdoors. There was a sign on the door to use the bar entrance. I am assuming that at night, you are required to use the secondary entrance. Karaoke night was fun. It slowly got packed. I ordered a shirmp roll, which you get 2 for $5 and a pineapple passion drink for $11. I forgot to take a picture of it, but the food was good and the drink was ok. I originally wanted a frozen drink, but they were not serving it. In general, it was a good experience. I will come again for karaoke .

I can’t rate the food fairly, considering I was only there for karaoke. However, the drinks were strong and not super pricey, I could only have two before I had to call it as I’m not that much of a drinker. The flavor could’ve been better, but if you’re going to get drunk you’ll definitely be getting your money’s worth. That being said, the karaoke was definitely fun Make sure to get there a little early if you want to sing so they can put your name and song on the list before it fills up. As far as the atmosphere goes, it’s a nice little bar, usually pretty clean with a moderate amount of seating. Would recommend if you’re just looking to have a fun night.

Has a more upscale appearance but the quality of food doesn’t have enough of an increase from a hole-in-the-wall establishment to justify 20 bucks for a dinner plate. The wanton chips and sauce was a nice touch for sure, but the sesame chicken seems to use the bagged sauce that normal establishments use. The chicken itself was fairly hard and was unpleasant. The hot and sour soup was up to standard. Probably won’t come back.

Nice place. Went here for lunch when our intended restaurant was closed. Pleasantly surprised. Very good food, service and atmosphere. Plus free parking. No negatives to speak of on this visit. I’ll check it out for dinner next time.

TEE FOODIE
We went in for lunch sat down we weren’t even offered a cup of water with lemon! The Asian male waiter was rude and disrespectful! He made me feel like the color of my skin mattered! And when I told him I was not done with the menus after he collected them. As he was walking away he threw the menu back to my table with his face turned in opposite direction so we got up and left the building! I would never visit this establishment again they are very unprofessional they are rude they are disrespectful would not recommend to family nor friends or anyone I cared about for that matter!

Butterflies is a wonderful Chinese place the service is exceptional the food is fantastic. When I’m in West Hartford that’s the only restaurant that I will go to when I want Chinese food they do family style also if if you want to share. I recommend this place. They also have a bar and karaoke night.
