I found my food soulmate today. I’m a retired Chef, known to “dabble” in bbq, and in general I just know really good food when I find it. Today at Butts To Go I had the best, excuse me, the BEST BBQ Pork Sandwich I have ever had. This thing checked every single box, cost, value, appearance, portion, flavor, aroma, visual appearance….. EVERYTHING!!! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, the smell punches you in the nose as soon as you enter the building. Not lying, as soon I entered I said, “This is gonna be good!” I had no idea how right I was. I have eaten Michelin starred foods, created many exquisite meals myself, and this was almost a “religious experience “ to me. Go, get the Jumbo Sandwich, you won’t be sorry. If you don’t like it, I will gladly eat what’s left of yours.

Stopped in to pick up a to go order.. Gave the guy the name and he ask me what i was picking up, so i had to get in touch with the friend that made the order who was at the time on a boat headed to his place..10 minutes go by and i get order from friend. I tell guy up front and he says yea got it right here…What the hell. He could have just given me the order and I could have been gone already…2 stars for being a jerk. They never disappoint! I work at TSC and our store won a store contest and was awarded lunch for all employees. Of course this order was last minute but The ladies at Butts To Go were not at all annoyed by it. They had our large order ready at time given to pick up which was only a couple hours after placing the order. The young lady working at the counter was very nice and wonderful customer service. This is why we always choose this place for our award winning lunches plus it’s ooooh soooooo yummy

The turkey I asked to get sliced was in chunks and it took a LONG time for them to get my order ready! They prepared at least 6 other orders that came after mine first. The young lady at the counter went back twice checking what the problem was. The meat tasted ok but was not the way I ordered it. Probably wont go back…

Not much for atmosphere (it’s inside a gas station) but the smoked pork is incredible. The staff treated me like family, the portions are huge and there’s a small area of tables to enjoy their food. I had a slab of baby back ribs that was super tender with a rich smoke flavor.

I had a half rack of baby back ribs and two sides. This may be petty but they will not give you a refill on tea with a $20 meal. My first and last time to visit. But they will give you a refill for the barbecue sandwich. Didn’t quite make sense to me. The ribs were dry out from setting in a warmer all day. Potato Salad was good. Baked Beans weren’t good.
