Visited on Mother’s Day after the Butterfly house. We tried to go to the Whitehouse Inn but didn’t have reservations. Last minute, we ended up here. They closed @ 2 & it was just past 1:30 pm. They very graciously welcomed us in & we felt very blessed to be able to have our Mother’s Day brunch. They food was good & the service was warm & friendly.

Pedestrian at best. Food was mediocre. Eggs were cold and over cooked, pancakes were burnt and they wanted us to pay extra for the gravy on the side even though it comes with the meal. Server was nice and accommodating. This place worries me, not just anyone off the street should be able to walk through the kitchen to the back door.

I ordered a country fried steak that came with a sausage gravy. I asked for it on the side so I could put it on myself. The owner said for me to get the sausage gravy that comes WITH my meal on the side it would be an additional 1.50. I don’t understand why the owner was having such a problem. Then they gave me tablespoon size amount of gravy so I ended up having to just pay for gravy to put on my county fried steak.

The pancakes were burned, and i don’t even think that there was real bread in the french toast. The place was falling apart and there was only one lady working there, she was nice but kept forgetting things. And my grandma said the place was rank

Great service, friendly staff, family oriented dining experience. Prices are affordable and service sizes are moderate. Overall great experience. Edit: I downgraded my 5 star review to 1 star because the owner/cook (same person) has zero people skills, they yell at customers who ask for extra or to put something separate, they yell at employees who are only paid tips and meals in front of customers. The serving size has shrank, the attitude and overall environment here has taken a huge downfall. Neither me nor my family will be back. Sad to see why local businesses can’t stay around, because owners like this treat people so poorly thinking it’s their awesome food that brings you…not me, it was the whole experience. That is now not even family quality. Btw, save some money and just buy the stuff at the store like they do. Nothing is “homemade”

Small diner that could use an update to the Interior, especially the old cloth seats that you can not wipe with disinfectant. As well as all the interior mounted AC units with drip pans under them..
