My husband and I had breakfast at By the Bay Bistro this weekend, and it was excellent. I loved the decor, the friendly wait staff and the food. Susan Pohlmann takes great care with everything, including the imported ingredients, the menu display and relaxing environment. I highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area or nearby.

I can’t believe I have never been here before. Love it. Nice little quiet spot in Osprey. The German pretzel was deliciously fresh and soft. The Cold Brew was smooth. Lovely owner and service. Will visit again soon.

Susan makes me a perfect cup of coffee every time. That is no easy task! I’m so particular. Delicious pastries and the chicken salad is AMAZING! Butternut squash soup as well. You can’t go wrong no matter what you order. Great atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Highly recommend!

This place was so good I went twice, on back to back days. Soup was delicious. Tried butternut squash one day and had to go back and try the Tomato. Glad I did. The sandwich was served on as ciabatta roll, very fresh. Of course tried the pastries both times. Maple pecan the 1st time and raspberry the 2nd. Do not pass up. The ladies running the place are as nice as can be. Finally the price… Incredibly reasonable. Spent less than $15.

I love by the Bay Bistro. My favorite drink is the white mocha with vanilla. Susan uses real white chocolate in the drink and it is so delicious, hot or iced! The food is always good too. I like the pretzel with mustard and the St. Tropez sandwich. I also like the cozy ambiance and the friendly owners and staff.

Finally a great coffee house in South Sarasota! I love the coffee and sandwiches, and stop here most days. The interior design is top notch…as are the sandwiches, salads and pastries. Coffee? Sooo much better than Starbucks. But the best part and what keeps me coming back is the friendliness of the owner and staff. Please try this place for breakfast/lunch/coffee- you won’t regret it!
