Delighted by this waterfront destination! The gal that was running EVERYTHING was on point. She was working the register, the fryer, clearing tables, etc. The food was extremely good. Tried the clam chowder (10/10) just added a bit of salt and pepper to make everything POP. Also got the fish and chips. Man, they were perfect! Crispy and juicy. Coleslaw was great and I don’t usually like mayo things, tartar sauce was house-made and the best I’ve ever had (sorry mom). Onion rings and fries were very good too. A few beers were also available. The view across from the public-accessible pier was very serene. Would definitely go back when I’m out on the peninsula again.

We love By the Bay Cafe! Another great meal and visit in the books. Great food and service every time we visit. Highly recommend! The lady behind the counter was THE NICEST. Will definitely be back! I had the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. Everything was perfect. Big thick pieces of bacon. Nicely cooked burger. Crispy onion rings that weren’t greasy at ALL, and the homemade ranch is really great. Don’t miss this place!

Sadly, they ran out of fries. Onion rings were a tad burnt. But the jali burger was actually very tasty. The service was moderate. The view was great, 8 eagles flew the area.

The food was pretty good, and the service was awesome. Diane was super friendly and incredibly attentive even though she was the only server for the entire restaurant. And they were completely packed! We tried the chicken sandwich and patty melt with side salads. We were pleasantly surprised to find how good the salads were. We expected iceberg lettuce but got a bowl of fresh, flavorful veggies. Both sandwiches were tasty too.

Delicious food – fish&chips, seafood platter, and the burger were all great. One of the better potato fries I recently had. It was a small place with huge windows opening our eyes to beautiful views. Few outdoor seats available.

The staff here is the friendliest. I only stopped here to look at the menu but I was greeted well and had a good customer experience. Their lunch menu is selection was also quite good. If you are in the mood, you could take your food and walk by the pier and sit down and have a good meal

If you are visitng turistic places around, do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant. The food was great! The fries are the best in Washigton! Also, the restaurant is at this very nice spot with a great view of the bay. We had the chance to see a sea lion after we ate dinner right in front of the restaurant. We were told they come there very often and people watch them for hours. The lady who took our order (I believe the owner) was the nicest, sweetest lady I met during my time in Washington. She really took care of me and my friend. God bless her!

We stopped by Cafe on the way back from Cape Flattery. Google says they were open until 8, but they stay open as long as they have business. Staff was friendly, efficient, and down to earth real – which made this stop even more delightful! I ordered a basket of the best choice and I ended up with Alaska halibut. The coleslaw was fresh. The fries/chips were perfect pairing. They even have his chocolate after getting the cool humid breeze from the day. Perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view of the harbor. Follow the signs! And if you miss the turn off, turn around and go back!!!!
