Well cooked BBQ. The beef ribs just fall apart, and are huge. You get your money’s worth. I was looking forward to trying the Mac and Cheese, but they were out by the time i got there. Oh well, next time. The building needs some better signage, and we weren’t able to get through on the phone to order, but had food within 10 minutes ordering in person anyway. Owner is very nice and clearly cares about what he is doing. Looking forward to seeing this place evolve.

Was charged a $6 “tax” on a $14 meal. Probably my own fault for pulling out a $20 before I got the bill. But aside from a sketchy employee and the food being microwaved, it was pretty good. Coleslaw was soupy with straight mayo but that’s a personal preference, I guess. Will be my only time here but best wishes to the owner.

When we first approached we weren’t sure of it but once inside and talking to the owner we knew this was a great place to get some bbq and it was all delicious. The owner is sweet and will tell you his story if you want to listen and he even gave us a tour of the kitchen. The place definitely gives you the feeling of being at a family bbq outside but in! Definitely recommend, the portions are great for about $10-12 for something and 2 sides.

So sooo good! I wont think about going anywhere else besides Byrd’s for bbq. He is so personable and truly puts work into what he does. It definitely shows in the flavor and quality of the food! We had a large portion of what is offered here and I have not one thing bad to say about any morsel of the food. Everything was DELICIOUS!

Soooooo sooooo good! Pottstown has finally received a worthy BBQ establishment. The food was DELIGHTFUL!! The owner was extremely accommodating and hospitable and I took a bunch of food home to have later. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to no longer have to travel far to get GREAT TASTING BBQ!!!!!! Pottstown is truly on its way to becoming an attractive town again.
