A really nice place to eat, but it could definitely use some upgrades. The round booth seating near register felt like the original seats from when this place used to be inside the mall over a decade ago and even then those were inside for decades.

Walked in to a kiosk that couldn’t determine if it wanted me to add or take away items. Finally gave up and ordered at the counter from a gentleman that couldn’t speak up and had the personality of a gnat. Then waited 15 minutes while our food sat in the window and they tended to the drive thru and the ice cream counter. I finally got impatient and walked up there and asked them for our food and she only put part of it on the tray. I said I need the rest of our order and she started to take the tray away and I said I’d like to keep this food and get the REST of it please! They gave us no utensils to eat and had to ask for them. My husband ordered a chopped steak and he asked the guy if it was an actual steak which he was told yes. (See photo) It looked like dog food on a plate. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. My daughter ordered a salad and the ranch was clumpy of which we also had to ask for since they forgot it. Stay away. Seriously.

Disgusting. I was happy to get orange sherbert ice cream on a hot day and was greeted to an awful sight. This bug was not tasteful at all and ruined my entire day, will not be coming back.

I had great expectations when I saw this sign. Memories of eating chicken dogs and drinking orange aid with my Mom and sisters on many shopping trips at Mayberry Mall. I was disappointed those items were no longer on the menu. After a long wait in the drive thru the nice girl at the window handed me the food I choose since my favorite items were not available. My chicken sandwich was dry and tasteless. My chocolate malt was bitter made with chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla and adding chocolate syrup. I will not go back.

Stopped for ice cream. Yummy, hand dipped ice cream. A bit pricey for the small scoops, but I try to support the locally owned businesses. *** UPDATE 9/12/21. Had to stop back by here today. It’s a great little diner with friendly staff, great food and ice cream. You can sit inside, or outside on their deck. The tables do have umbrellas to keep the sun off. Really cute place and easy to get to. Stop by and say hi.
