I started my morning off wanting a delicious Cantories steak & cheese sub. Best in town imo. They are closed Mondays. So, I read reviews on C&S because I’ve never tried it and I drive by it often. I expected great food & portions and a frumpy old guy to take my order (if they ever answered) just as the reviews led me to believe. I called at 11:05 am to place a take-out order. I got what I expected. The first attempt it rang probably 15 times and I got voicemail. The second try it rang probably 7 times and I got the frumpy man who was less than happy to be taking my order and very short and thankless. I got there and being the only customer I wasn’t acknowledged, ever, by any of the three staff until the food was all wrapped up. The only spoken words were “steak & Cheese and Gyro?” and “thirteen sixty-two” or whatever it was. No “hello, welcome to C&S” or “thank you”. Whatever, I don’t care. I’m getting a great friggin meal because the reviews said so…. Right? Wrong.

I was in White River Junction, Vermont for several days for business and I came here for lunch and dinner on two separate occasions. The food was so good and I love pizza, so it was an easy choice to go back. I would have eaten here more if there weren’t so many other restaurants to try out in the area.

About fifteen minutes from order to them handing me my two large pizzas. Really enjoyed them and the wife and her mother commented on how good they were.
