We waited for a while to order food.. . It wasn’t that busy. The food we ordered was gross and expensive for the serving size we got with each dish. You can see in photos and the receipt what we ordered. The chicken wings were probably the only decent thing. The bam bam shrimp was like rubber and not even crispy… They were very over seasoned and overpriced for the 6 or 8 that came in the order. The shrimp tacos were ok but the shrimp was supposed to be “blackened” And you can see that it was not. We will never go back there. The onion rings were good but for the price and size of order..not worth it.

Kurt, the manager was a great guide for a very homie and comfortable bar/super club. The menu is pretty robust with a wife variety of styles of dinner. The specials are really good (today was all you can eat cherry chicken wings and loaded tatertots). The decor is northwoods and cool. Great place very neat Fort Ripley.

A daily special…. And it was more than special! Smoked Brisket is one of my favorites and this was delicious – deserves higher than a 5 STAR Rating. The presentation of the meal is not something you find in a Saloon but a fine dinning restaurant. Our server was also a 5 STAR.

Terrible! Almost not worth rating even for my experience. However, keeping to my morals with honest reviews, wanted to share. It was a busy Saturday evening around 7PM. almost 2 hours from sit down to walk out because they served so slow. Ordered the “House Specialty” Loaded Prime Rib Sandwich with fries, appetizer was buffalo wings. So the wings were good, with way too much sauce and they never brought the ranch I ordered. You can see in the photo their was so much more fat that actual beef to eat. the bun seemed to be from the grocery store and the beef tasted like it was sitting in a crockpot all day. I may have been able to make a better meal at home, and I am no cook. NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT IT! Very disappointing… use caution and consider spending your $20 or more somewhere else. Do not recommend and will never return. Thanks for reading and if this review helps give a thumbs up.

the food was good but priced a little high for what I consider bar food. Apps about $8 and meals for $18.

Good menu. Pleasant server. They’re changing names soon as well under new ownership. Food was good and fair priced.

This is our third time eating dinner here. Never disappointed. Yes it is a sit down and enjoy your salad and conversation while the main dish is made to order. It takes a little more time, but I don’t feel like I am being rushed through like some other restaurants. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. If this place was located either a half hour north or south of where it is, they could probably charge 10 to 20 percent more for their dishes and be full all weekend long. I highly recommend this place and even bring my family from the cities here when they want a really good meal.

I have been here multiple times. The food tends to be either very good, or rather so so. Tonight was so so. I asked for a sirloin medium. It was well under that. There was a lot of gristle as well. It was edible but certainly not juicy and flavorful. My daughter had the ribs which again, were below average in taste and quality. My son had a burger that was worse than what you get at normal burger joint. Waitress was fantastic. Prices much higher than food quality warrants.

The place doesn’t seem like much on the outside but inside is where it’s at. I ordered the Frisco burger and WOW was it delicious. Thick, juicy, tasty, and cooked to perfection. The bacon on the burger tasted like it came right from the smokehouse. The sourdough bread was so buttery yet crispy. I couldn’t believe anyone would give this place a negative rating. The French fries even impressed me with their flaky seasoned crunchy exterior. I would say that this is the best burger I have had in recent memory. They better hold onto that cook.
