Being an out of towner we love coming here when visiting our family friends. This place is absolutely amazing. The owners are so sweet and accommodating. The food tastes very authentic and fresh. The prices are very reasonable. All I can say is if you’re craving Mexican food you’ll thank me when you pass by. The meat is so tasty, the fish tacos were delicious and the rice is absolutely AMAZING. Can’t wait to come back for our next visit.

My server was CANDY. My friend and I came to eat on a Thursday evening. There was virtually no one in the restaurant besides us and it still took a long time to get the menus. We also asked for the checks at the end and she said she would get them for us. We waited around for 30 minutes and we had to go up to the counter instead to pay because she never came. I shouldn’t have left a tip either. It was a one and done experience but I will not be back here again.

This is a cute little mom and pop/small town restaurant. The owners take a lot of pride in their food and you can tell. This is the best Mexican food in the whole entire Charlotte area imo. Their flautas, enchiladas, tacos are phenomenal. I recommend getting the shredded beef. Homemade tamales- say what! We still haven’t tried the shrimp tacos or the fajitas yet that other reviewers have recommended. The prices are good, too. And you can get everything à la cart. Highly recommend!!!!

Wow anyone from the e Charlotte area that remembers Pedro’s on Independence Blvd, will love this place. The chef I believe is the nephew of Pedro’s owner (maybe ) and the food took me back to the 80s by the water fountain pitching in pennies with my brother.
