I love supporting local businesses. The service was good and relatively quick. The food was good but nothing outstanding. It was just fish and the portions were pretty small for the price. I did think the baked beans were pretty good. A two piece fish with two sides was nearly $18. My husband had the meal with coleslaw and said it was just okay.

My husband and I decided to try out a new place today. Happy to report that they did NOT disappoint. Not only was this place clean and open. The staff was super nice. Food portions were great! My sandwich (which had the bread in a different box so it wouldn’t get soggy ) wasn’t small by any means. Everything has fresh and hot. So, if you like the things you see on their menu. You should give them a try!

I had really high expectations, really good reviews of this place! I am sad to say the COD dinner I had was probably the worst fried fish I’ve ever been served! It was so strongly FISHY and greasy. I actually thought I had food poisoning but it subsided after a few hours. May be an isolated incident, a bad 2 pieces of fish. Don’t know

Great addition to the Highview area. Food was good and portions were large. By all means not cold, but could been have been hotter. Staff was friendly and we LOVED our waitress, Amy. Good atmosphere and decor, Dining area and restrooms were very clean. Still a few things that need to be worked out but overall a great place.

Loaded baked potato only had cheese and sour cream. Macaroni and cheese was ok but only about four bites worth more like a teaser then a side dish and the lemon pepper chicken was dry and left something to be desired as it was a thin small piece of breast I was expecting a little more for the 15 dollar price. The only thing that was good were the fried mushrooms and they were excellent but for more than 20 dollars I was not impressed.

Ordered take out for dinner, it was ready before the estimated time. Went to pick it up and it was hot and ready. My fried chicken sandwich was excellent. The mushrooms are also good. Crab cakes were excellent. Hush puppies very tasty. We will order here again!

We visited this place based off of a review. Boy were we disappointed. We ordered online for pickup however when we arrived my friend asked if we could sit in instead and was told yes sit anywhere. While he was choosing a table what appeared to be a teenaged girl started bad mouthing to another employee “why would he order pickup and sit” I spoke and said he’s already asked was it ok. The girl rolled her eyes. Half our order was missing so we waited when it came a side of green beans was also missing. Heavier white girl then wanted to charge us for the green beans I explained they were on our receipt already so what appears to be the teenagers mom now comes to assist. Once our food came mom asked if we wanted ice for our sweet tea (wasn’t sweet) the teenager with attitude brought them out with plenty eye rolls and purposely sat my cup far across from me. My daughter later asked the mom for something and just like the daughter rolled her eyes. Their fish and fried green tomatoes were good however everything else left much to be desired. I will NEVER come again to be treated the way we were all while paying hard earned money for it. We came to support ehat we figured was a family owned business but all we got was snotty teenaged attitude and ok food.

Nice looking restaurant. Good food, nothing too distinct about the menu. I eat once every 2 months on a Sunday after church. It’s never busy, so you get seated right away.
