We have had a lot of Italian meals at BYOB’s in Union Country, and this is a new favorite! Eggplant Parm is so flavorful, all pasta perfectly Al dente, and Chicken Française juicy and tasty, not dry. Great salad, service, atmosphere! We will be back!

Delicious meal from appetizers to dessert! Great service. Owner Caetano takes pride in his food. We started with an appetizer platter of clams, mussels, eggplant rollatini , so delicious! Then we had lasagna, stuffed shrimp w crab over linguini and a 14 oz filet mignon. Everything fresh and cooked to perfection. Cannot recommend this place enough. There is a small parking lot attached and street parking. The restaurant is BYOB also. Reservations encouraged as it is a quant little place.

As promised, I am giving 5 stars for my experience at Caetona’s. My family and I loved each of our dishes and we made it a great time. The restaurant is on the quieter side but the food is worth it and made fresh with each order. Looking forward to trying more dishes. The owner is very cool and took the time to hang out with us as well as serve some of the dishes himself. Even as we were past the closing time, they never rushed us out. Byob is a plus!

My friend and I discovered the cutest little spot in Kenilworth for a most delicious Italian dinner. After walking through a sandwich shop, in the back, is the coziest, most delicious restaurant I have been to in a long time. The owner, Caetano, and his wife, Erica, were just so welcoming right from the start. It was my friend’s birthday and he made this evening extra special from start to finish. Thank you for the chop-chop salad. I eat salad everyday and this was so delicious. I know the dressing was oil and vinegar, but the taste was superb and it was definitely large enough to split between two people. I have a feeling this will be my new “go-to” place. I love that the owner takes such pride and has fresh food along with a very appealing menu. It is not overly extensive, but that is what I like. (I already have some ideas as to what I want to try next time.) Every dish that I saw come out of the kitchen looked scrumptious. My friend had rigatoni Bolognese and even though it had cream sauce, it was so light and flavorful. She even had some to take home. I tried the stuffed shrimp with fresh crabmeat. OMG! It was perfect and plated beautifully. The shrimps were large and it was over linguini. The perfect taste. I even had three of the six shrimps to take home. (Always love leftovers). I asked the owner/chef how he prepares this and he assured me that it was fresh crabmeat and not salty. He really goes the extra mile to satisfy his patrons, as this is evident after speaking with patrons who were regulars. They went on and on about how great this restaurant is. My friend was surprised with a birthday dessert, tiramisu and a candle. So nice, especially since I never asked for anything! Caetano told me that some days he even has “specials” so I look forward to seeing them in the future. We most certainly enjoyed every bite of food there and it is a perfect hidden little gem in the small town of Kenilworth. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is very small and on weekends will be busier. Parking is easy, too, as they have a lot in the back. I can not wait to share my thoughts to friends and visit again soon. I think I have found a new favorite spot. Thanks, Caetano for being so welcoming and charming.

Caetanos Cucina is one of the best kept secrets in town! You enter into a store front with the restaurant being in the back. Seating in the restaurant is intimate, for a total of about 20-30 people. But the food is by no means tiny. The friendly server immediately seated us and quickly brought fresh, warm bread and butter to begin. The restaurant doesn’t have a large menu, ehich allows the chefs to focus on making great food. We ordered an appetizer to share and two different entrees. The chicken parm and eggplant parm were cooked to perfection. The appetizer and entrees were delicious! Had we not gotten an appetizer to share, we would have finished our plates. The prices are fair. The food was so good that we’re planning to be regulars.

First time, but not the last. Four of us each had different appetizers, from Salad, to Eggplant Parm, all delicious. Our entrees were equally as delicious. The owner/chef was very friendly and was fine changing pastas for us on some of the dishes. It’s a BYOB and we will definitely return.

Had dinner here last night. Friendly staff, very attentive. The bread was so fresh and warm. They brought out a house salad which was delicious. We had chicken marsala, raviolis and stuffed shrimp. Best shrimp I have EVER had ! It was so perfectly cooked and well seasoned. They also treated us to a cheesecake! Everything was exquisite. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you!!
